Their entry, โ€œCocktail Dispenser: From Design to Reality,โ€ featured the development of a tabletop automated cocktail dispenser, showcasing the process from conceptualization and design to fabrication, assembly, operation, and final preparation.

The prototype was designed to minimize manual effort while providing consistent ingredient dispensing and mixing, demonstrating the teamโ€™s ability to turn an engineering concept into a functional prototype.

Presented through the lighthearted story of two mechanics, the team explored how PID controllers work behind the scenes to keep machines running at the desired speed. Equipped with infrared RPM feedback, ANDAR demonstrates how real-time monitoring and control can create a smarter and more efficient approach to motor operation.

The project also connected the prototype to practical mechanical applications, highlighting how PID-based systems can be used in technologies such as wind turbines, automated machinery, and robotics.

With a combination of technical knowledge, creativity, and effective presentation, the USeP representatives successfully brought the concept of โ€œSpin Smarter, Not Harder!โ€ to life.

Mindanao Polytechnic College (MPC) secured the ๐Ÿฏ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ ๐—ฅ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฟ-๐—จ๐—ฝ title with their ๐™Ž๐™ค๐™ก๐™–๐™ง-๐™‹๐™ค๐™ฌ๐™š๐™ง๐™š๐™™ ๐™๐™ž๐™ข๐™š-๐˜พ๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™ง๐™ค๐™ก๐™ก๐™š๐™™ ๐™„๐™ง๐™ง๐™ž๐™œ๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ฃ ๐™Ž๐™ฎ๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™š๐™ข, a prototype designed to deliver water according to a predetermined schedule while making use of renewable solar energy throughout the Prototy-ME competition.

The system combines solar tracking, energy storage, and automated irrigation to provide a more efficient approach to agricultural watering. Using LDR sensors and an Arduino Mega, the prototype tracks sunlight and stores energy in a 12-volt battery, which powers the irrigation system.

At the programmed time, the pump and valves automatically operate for a set duration, helping reduce water waste, energy consumption, and the need for manual irrigation. With an estimated build cost of around โ‚ฑ6,300, the project also demonstrates that practical and sustainable agricultural solutions can be made accessible and affordable.

Through their prototype, the MPC representatives highlighted the importance of proper irrigation timing while showcasing how renewable energy and automation can contribute to more sustainable farming practices.
