The Keepers Club International, Inc. (KCI), in partnership with the Kalibo Local Youth Development Office and the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) MOO Kalibo, successfully conducted a Mental Health Symposium and Music Therapy Program at the New Municipal Building, Kalibo Town Hall, Aklan.

The event gathered 4Ps youth beneficiaries aged 14–18 and their parents for an engaging session on mental health awareness led by resource speaker Mrs. Maria Solita Z. Guzman, a public servant, writer, media host, and mental health advocate.

The program concluded with an uplifting Music Therapy session by KCI musicians, leaving participants inspired and encouraged. Ma’am Ma. Rhoda N. Crispino, PDO II and Officer-in-Charge of 4Ps Kalibo, also expressed her appreciation and hope for future collaborations with the KCI Aklan Chapter.

KCI Iloilo Chapter Joins Tree Planting Activity for a Greener Future

The Keepers Club International, Inc. (KCI) Iloilo Chapter recently participated in a Tree Planting Activity spearheaded by the Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation and the Local Youth Development Council at Barangay Turog-Turog, Oton, Iloilo.

More than planting trees, the activity was a meaningful step toward protecting the environment, combating climate change, and building a greener, healthier, and more resilient community. It also served as an opportunity to instill among the youth the values of environmental responsibility, unity, and stewardship.

Together, we plant not only trees—but also hope for a better tomorrow.

KCI Oton-Iloilo Chapter Advances Youth Empowerment Initiative

The Keepers Club International, Inc. (KCI) Oton-Iloilo Chapter met with Hon. Pio Portugalete, Barangay Captain, and Sir Junel Ballesteros, SK Chairman of Barangay Poblacion North, to discuss the implementation of its proposed Youth Empowerment Program focusing on Anti-Illegal Drugs, Anti-Bullying, and Mental Health Awareness. The program is proposed to be held at the Oton National High School Gymnasium, subject to the approval of the school's principal, Dr. Darwin A. Haro, CESE.

The barangay officials expressed their support for the initiative, noting that it aligns with their plans to strengthen mental health awareness following recent incidents involving youth in the community. Through this collaboration, KCI Oton-Iloilo continues to promote safer, healthier, and more empowered communities by equipping young people with the knowledge and values they need to thrive.

KCI Panabo Chapter Joins Mangrove Clean-Up Drive

As an active member of the Panabo City Youth Development Council, the Keepers Club International, Inc. (KCI) Panabo Chapter proudly participated in the Clean-Up Drive at the Panabo Mangrove Forest Park, alongside the Panabo City Youth Development Office (PCYDO) and fellow youth organizations.

United in protecting the environment, volunteers worked hand in hand to help preserve the city's mangrove ecosystem while promoting environmental stewardship and active citizenship. This initiative reflects KCI Panabo's continued commitment to serving the community and inspiring the youth to care for nature.
Together, every small effort creates a lasting impact.

KCI Aklan Chapter Strengthens Youth Development Partnership in Kalibo

As an active council member of the Aklan Youth Development Council, the Keepers Club International, Inc. (KCI) Aklan Chapter participated in the 2nd Quarter Local Youth Development Council Meeting of Kalibo alongside the Provincial Youth Development Council, Vice Mayor Phillip Yerro Kimpo Jr., SK Federations, and fellow youth organizations. The meeting focused on preparations for the Linggo ng Kabataan celebration, International Youth Day, the Learning to Earning Pathways Program (L.E.A.P.), the Campus Journalism Program, and the upcoming SK Federation Election and Oath-Taking Ceremony.

During the meeting, KCI Aklan also formally submitted its proposal to conduct a Mental Health Symposium and Music Therapy for 4Ps youth beneficiaries. The proposal was warmly received, recognizing the importance of strengthening mental health awareness and utilizing music therapy as a meaningful tool for emotional healing and youth well-being.

Through active collaboration with the local government and fellow youth organizations, KCI Aklan continues to champion initiatives that empower young people and promote holistic youth development in the province.

KCI AND UNIPHIL YOUTH COUNCIL STRENGTHEN PARTNERSHIP WITH SK TAGAKPAN TO EMPOWER YOUTH AND INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES

The Keepers Club International (KCI) successfully immersed with the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Tagakpan during its Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) Assembly, marking the beginning of a stronger partnership dedicated to advancing youth development and community empowerment in the barangay.

This meaningful engagement provided an opportunity for KCI and the UNIPHIL Youth Council to connect with local youth leaders, listen to the needs and aspirations of the community, and introduce programs designed to promote responsible leadership, active citizenship, and inclusive participation. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to developing young people into responsible, service-oriented, and values-driven leaders who will contribute positively to their communities.

Through this partnership, KCI and the UNIPHIL Youth Council will implement a range of youth-centered initiatives focusing on leadership development, peacebuilding, volunteerism, values formation, community engagement, skills development, and the empowerment of Indigenous Peoples (IP) youth. ICYM: ADVANCING MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS AMONG THE YOUTH

The Keepers Club International, Inc. – West Davao Chapter successfully conducted its first Mental Health Symposium at Davao Vision College, bringing together more than 400 students, faculty members, and staff in a meaningful initiative dedicated to promoting mental health and overall well-being. The symposium provided participants with valuable insights on mental health awareness, stress management, emotional resilience, self-care practices, and the importance of seeking timely support, while fostering a culture of empathy, compassion, and psychological wellness within the academic community.

The program also highlighted the significance of creating safe and supportive environments where young people can openly discuss mental health challenges and develop healthy coping mechanisms. Through engaging discussions and interactive learning sessions, participants were encouraged to prioritize their well-being, strengthen their resilience, and become advocates for mental health awareness in their schools and communities.
