This morning, LATCH Davao’s Julie and Aya had the privilege of giving a special presentation at Brokenshire Hospital’s Emma Noreen Hall, as part of their Hakab Ta 2026 breastfeeding event, sharing important and practical insights on breastfeeding with physicians, medical students, hospital staff, and mothers.

The topics covered were Benefits of Breastfeeding, Breastfeeding Myths, and Going Back to Work while continuing to breastfeed.

Thank you to everyone who listened, learned, and shared in this meaningful conversation. Together, we can create a more informed and supportive community for breastfeeding mothers. 💙💕

Each experience is different, and every effort matters.

Today, we celebrate:

✨ The mother navigating challenges and continuing to show up each day
✨ The mother supporting another mother through her experience

Breastfeeding is not about perfection. It is about nurturing, learning, adapting, and loving.

Creating breastfeeding-friendly environments does not always require major investments. Sometimes it begins with understanding, respect, and a willingness to accommodate families with young children.

A supportive community can help mothers feel confident breastfeeding in public, access reliable information, and seek help when challenges arise.
