March marks the celebration of Women’s Month—a time to honor the strength, resilience, and inspiring achievements of women across the universe.
Women have long been pillars of change in families, workplaces, and communities. Their determination to rise, lead, and transform challenges into opportunities continues to shape a more inclusive and compassionate society.
In this celebration, the Mindanao Migrants Center for Empowering Actions, Inc. (MMCEAI) reaffirms its commitment to supporting women’s empowerment and promoting spaces where women—especially migrant women and children of migrant workers—can access opportunities, protection, and meaningful participation in society.
As we celebrate, let us also commit to action: to support women’s rights, open doors of opportunity, and champion equality in every space we occupy. Empowered women, empower the world. Happy Women’s Month! 💜

Migrant workers are the silent strength behind many of the things we rely on every day. Today, we take a moment to thank them for their hard work, courage, and determination. Everyone deserves respect, fair treatment, and a safe place to work and live.

NATIONAL MIGRANT WORKERS' DAY! 💙🧡

On the 30th year of celebrating National Migrant Workers’ Day, we honor the courage and hard work of our modern-day heroes, our Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).

Their resilience and dedication inspire us to build a more inclusive, supportive, and safe society, one that values and protects our OFWs, whether they are working abroad or safeguarding their families at home.

As we celebrate this momentous occasion and recognize the progress in developing mechanisms and policies to protect migrant workers, we must also acknowledge that cases of abuse and violations of human rights continue to persist; tragically, sometimes even resulting in fatalities.

As we move forward, let us continue to advocate for fair wages, better working conditions, protection from abuse and exploitation, and improved access to essential support services. Let us also celebrate their invaluable contributions to our economy and communities.

Together, let us continue our work:
