🏓💙 FROM OPEN PLAY TO CULTURAL IMPACT

Our Open Play Fundraiser last July 11, 2026 was more than just a day of fun and friendly competition, it became a way to support meaningful community initiatives.

Through the successful fundraising activity, we were able to use the earnings to conduct Pagmottow: Teaching the Bagobo-Klata Dialect – Year 2, Session 2 last August 23, 2026. 🌿📚

Special thanks to our Project Chair treas Min-min Agustin Escabillas and everyone who supported and participated in the Open Play. Your time, energy, and generosity helped turn a simple fundraising activity into an opportunity to preserve our cultural heritage and keep the Bagobo-Klata dialect alive for the next generation. 💙

🤝💙 FROM TWINNING TO IMPACT: JCI CALINAN CACAO x JCI PANABO

On August 1, 2026, at the beautiful Davao Bamboo Sanctuary, JCI Calinan Cacao and JCI Panabo strengthened their partnership through a Twinning Agreement, a commitment to collaboration, friendship, and meaningful community impact.

Putting our partnership into action, we came together through “SAMA-SAMA: Cultural Exchange with Tribu Sama,” celebrating the rich heritage, traditions, and identity of the Sama community.

Participants learned about their history, traditional attire, native language, cultural dance, and local delicacies, creating meaningful connections and a deeper appreciation for Indigenous heritage.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the Datu and the entire Tribu Sama of Tagpopongan for warmly sharing their culture and traditions with us. May Sama SAMA inspire greater respect, inclusivity, and cultural preservation. 💙

Pagmottow is more than a language learning initiative, it is our commitment to preserving cultural heritage and passing on the richness of the Bagobo-Klata dialect to future generations.

🤝JULY GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

This meeting was held to bring members together for updates, discussions, and planning of upcoming activities and projects. It also served as an avenue to strengthen fellowship, engagement, and collaboration among members.
