Together We Aided 150 Families — But Hundreds More Still Wait For Support
On May 22, 2026, Tambayan Center for Children’s Rights Inc. together with Davao Medical School Foundation-Institute of Primary Health Care (DMSF-IPHC) distributed relief goods to 150 Bajau families affected by fire. Each family received basins, pails, used clothes, rice packs, cooking pots, underwear, sleeping mats, blankets, combs, bath soap, and laundry soap.
Our deepest gratitude goes to DMSF-IPHC — your generous contribution and partnership were vital in bringing immediate aid and comfort to these families. Thank you for standing with the community in need. 🙏
We also thank Manuel Roxas Elementary School for allowing us to use their venue for the distribution. BUT THE NEED IS FAR FROM OVER
More than 400 families — including Bajau households and other fire survivors — still have no safe shelter, lack essential cooking utensils, and have no regular food supply. Worse, they remain in areas prone to yearly fires, living in constant fear of losing everything again.
They need more than temporary relief — they need a safe, secure place to live, free from recurring danger.
🤝 WE CALL ON YOUR GENEROSITY
Please help us provide food, kitchen supplies, and construction materials. Most importantly, advocate for and help secure permanent, safe shelter for these families. Every donation and support matters.
