SUNDAY RECAP | SALVATION IN HERE
This Sunday, we were reminded that sometimes God allows us to reach a place where we feel trapped, broken, or far from where we’re supposed to be but even there, God can meet us.
Text: Jonah 2:1–10
1. The place of suffering can become a place of prayer.
Jonah found himself in the belly of the fish, but instead of being the end of his story, it became a place where he cried out to God.
Sometimes the place we want to escape from can become the very place where we encounter God.
“I called out to the LORD, out of my distress…” - Jonah 2:2
2. The place of surrender can become a place of restoration.
Jonah had been running from God, but in that place, he surrendered.
God was not simply trying to punish Jonah - He was bringing him back.
Surrender is not the end. It can be the beginning of restoration.
3. The place of Obedience can become a place of new assignment.
Jonah’s failure was not the end of his calling. God still had a purpose for him.
Just because we have failed, fallen, or run away does not mean God is finished with us.
God can bring us back, restore us, and give us a new assignment.
Remember:
Your lowest place does not have to be your final place.
Your suffering can become a place of prayer.
Your surrender can become a place of restoration.
Your obedience can become a place of new assignment.
God is still calling. God is still restoring. God is still giving purpose. ❤️

Sometimes, we go through moments where we feel lost, tired, or like we’ve reached our deepest place. But what if that very place becomes where we encounter God? 🤍

Jonah ran, hid, and found himself in the belly of the fish. Yet even there, God met him. His lowest moment became a place of prayer, surrender, and ultimately, salvation.

Maybe you’re in a deep place right now. Maybe you’re waiting, struggling, or wondering where God is.

Remember: God can meet you even there. Your deepest place doesn’t have to be the end of your story it can become the place where you experience His presence in a deeper way.

“But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the LORD.’” -Jonah 2:9

Your deepest place can become the place where you encounter God. 💙

SUNDAY RECAP | THE POWER OF GENEROUS GIVING

What a powerful reminder this Sunday! 🙌

We learned that generosity is more than giving money, it is a heart that trusts God enough to give what He has placed in our hands.

“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”
2 Corinthians 9:6

Here are some truths we were reminded of:

1. God is calling us to sow, not just to receive.
Our time, respect, service, praise, obedience, and prayers can all become seeds in God’s hands.

2. God breaks the mindset of scarcity.
We may sometimes think, “I don’t have enough.” But God reminds us that He is more than enough. He is able to provide abundantly for every good work.

3. God multiplies what we surrender.
When we place what we have in God’s hands, He can use it, multiply it, and turn it into something that blesses others.

4. Our generosity becomes a blessing to others.
Through our giving and serving, needs can be met, people can be helped, ministries can move forward, and thanksgiving to God can increase.

And the greatest gift of all is Jesus.
Everything we know about generosity begins with God Himself, who gave us His Son.

“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” 2 Corinthians 9:15

May we not live with closed hands, but with open hearts and open hands, knowing that everything we have ultimately comes from God.

We give because He first gave.
We serve because He first served.
We bless because we have been blessed. ❤️

WHAT GOD PUTS IN YOUR HANDS ISN’T ALWAYS MEANT TO STAY THERE.

Sometimes, God blesses us with something not just for our own needs, but so we can bless someone else.

Our time, resources, talents, opportunities, and even the little things we have can become a blessing when we are willing to share them.

As Ptra. Arianne reminded us:
“There are things God has placed in your hand not for you to keep, but for you to PLANT.” 🌱

Maybe what you have right now may seem small to you but when surrendered to God, He can use it to grow something much bigger than you imagined.

Let’s not be afraid to give, to sow, and to trust God with what we have. Because generosity is not about how much we have, but how willing we are to let God use what is in our hands. 🙏💙
