Another batch of impressive achievers from the BSEd Science secured their spots in the recent releasing of results from last 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐋𝐄𝐏𝐓).

Along with the other topnotchers, 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗰𝘆 𝗥. 𝗦𝘂𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲 (𝗧𝗢𝗣 𝟱 - 𝟵𝟰.𝟮𝟬%), 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗕. 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼𝘀 (𝗧𝗢𝗣 𝟳 – 𝟵𝟯.𝟴𝟬%), 𝗡𝗲𝗶𝗹 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀 𝗖. 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗹 (𝗧𝗢𝗣 𝟴 – 𝟵𝟯.𝟲𝟬%), 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗔. 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮 (𝗧𝗢𝗣 𝟵 - 𝟵𝟯.𝟰𝟬%), 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗦. 𝗗𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗴 (𝗧𝗢𝗣 𝟵 – 𝟵𝟯.𝟰𝟬%), showed that perseverance and hard work is the secret towards excellence. Together with them are other topnotchers from the University of Mindanao – Main sharing the same unforgettable achievement. 🎉🙌

A huge congratulations to Catherine Banlota and Abbie Pauleen Elviña for bringing home the Champion title in the Movie Spoof competition at the UM 74th Inter-branch Expression Skills 2026! 🏆 Creativity, timing, and teamwork clearly understood the assignment!

At the same time, we recognize and congratulate Jhon Renier Maglinao for proudly participating in the Bench Yell competition at the 2nd Teacher Education Students’ Summit 2026. Showing up and representing the school takes a different kind of confidence!

Whether it’s winning on stage or stepping forward to represent, each effort reflects the passion, courage, and excellence of our future educators.

If leadership were a subject, you’d probably be teaching it by now, with complete lesson plans, clear instructions, and zero missing requirements. 🦖

Serving your second term as president already says a lot, but what stands out even more is how you continue to lead with the same energy, focus, and sense of responsibility as if it were your first. From the smallest details to the biggest decisions, you always find a way to keep everything and everyone on track.

It shows in the way you patiently guide us, in the way you believe in us, and in the way you remind us that teaching is not just a profession but a purpose. ‎The UM Digos College through the 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐀𝐎), coordinated by 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐃. 𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐬, 𝐌𝐁𝐀, led the cultural event titled “𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬: 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲” held today, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

‎The program featured a series of insightful sessions on the cultural foundations of traditional play and its role in regional socialization.
‎
‎Main presentations on Asian culture and heritage were delivered by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐋𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢, 𝐒𝐇., 𝐌𝐇., a guest lecturer from the University of Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya, Indonesia.

‎Resource speakers and participants included inbound students 𝐑𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝐎𝐧𝐨, 𝐘𝐮𝐢𝐤𝐨 𝐒𝐮𝐳𝐮𝐤𝐢, 𝐒𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐚 𝐏𝐡𝐮𝐝𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐤, 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐠, 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐚, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐥.

‎Participants engaged in interactive displays of iconic games such as 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐧 from 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐤 from 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚, 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐚𝐨 from 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, and the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬’ 𝐓𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐨 and 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨.

‎Through the theme of understanding Asian culture through traditional sports, the event aimed to establish global citizenship and a deeper appreciation for the region's unique and rich traditions.

Today, the University of Mindanao celebrates its 56th Commencement Exercises—a proud moment that marks not just the end of an academic journey, but the beginning of greater responsibilities, opportunities, and purpose.

To our graduate,

The YEAST family celebrate you not just by title, but by everything you carried to get here. The sacrifices, the persistence, and the quiet courage to keep going even when no one was watching. You didn’t just study Science; you learned how to share it, explain it, and bring it to life for others.

And that matters more than you think, because beyond this moment, you are stepping into a profession that shapes futures in ways that are not always seen, but always felt.🤍
