The youth of Barangay Rafael Castillo stepped into a day of learning and smart money decisions! ๐Ÿ’ก

Held at Phase 1, Brgy. R. Castillo, Davao City, participants took part in an engaging Financial Literacy Workshop focused on building practical financial habits at a young age.

With Ms. Methany Galabin from the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants โ€“ JMCFI Chapter as the resource speaker, the session introduced key concepts on budgeting and financial decision-making. The discussion emphasized proper allocation of money into needs, wants, and savings, helping the youth better understand how to manage their finances responsibly.

An interactive budgeting activity was also conducted, giving participants the opportunity to apply what they learned and make real-life financial decisions. Through this, they gained valuable insights on how to handle money wisely and prepare for a more secure future.

Last March 7, 2026, the youth of Barangay Rafael Castillo gathered at Phase 1, Brgy. R. Castillo for an engaging and informative session on emergency preparedness. In line with Fire Prevention Month, the activity aimed to raise awareness and equip participants with life-saving knowledge and skills.

With resource speakers from Lanang Fire Protection, the session became even more interactive as participants learned about fire safety, prevention, and proper emergency response. Several hands-on demonstrations were conducted, giving the youth a chance to witness and understand real-life applicationsโ€”from basic first aid to effective response during fire incidents.

More than just learning, the activity sparked awareness, built confidence, and empowered the youth to take action when it matters mostโ€”because being prepared today can save lives tomorrow. โšก๐Ÿšจ
