The 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 (𝗦𝗣𝗙) warmly participated in the 3-day 𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧 2026, carrying the spirit of unity, compassion, and service throughout the celebration. ✨🤝

This participation also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, especially 𝗦𝗗𝗚 3: 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗦𝗗𝗚 4: 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗦𝗗𝗚 10: 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, and 𝗦𝗗𝗚 17: 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 — reflecting SPF’s commitment to wellness, inclusive learning, equality, and meaningful collaboration.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 1 was filled with smiles, laughter, and heartfelt moments as the SPF Peer Facilitators prepared fiesta games enjoyed by everyone, including children with Down Syndrome. More than just games, it became a beautiful reminder that joy becomes more meaningful when it is shared with openness, kindness, and inclusion.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 2 celebrated confidence, talent, and the pride of representation as SPF President 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗼𝘀 participated in 𝗠𝗿. 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝘀. 𝗢𝗿𝗴 𝗖𝗖𝗢 ’𝗧𝗼 and was crowned as the 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝘀. 𝗢𝗿𝗴 𝗖𝗖𝗢 ’𝗧𝗼. She also bagged the minor awards 𝐌𝐬. 𝐁𝐞𝐭 𝐂𝐂𝐎 𝐘𝐚𝐧!, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐄𝐥𝐨𝐂𝐂𝐎𝐞𝐧𝐭. On the other hand, 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝗼𝗹, who was crowned as the 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗿. 𝗢𝗿𝗴 𝗖𝗖𝗢 ’𝗧𝗼 representing Youth For Animals, is also a proud member of the Society of Peer Facilitators. Their achievements reminded us that PEERship is not only seen in service, but also in courage, passion, and the confidence to inspire others.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 3 ended with warmth and gratitude as the USeP-Obrero University Assessment and Guidance Center and the Society of Peer Facilitators gathered for a simple salo-salo in the office. It was a meaningful way to close the celebration — sharing food, stories, laughter, and appreciation for the people who continue to make SPF a home of support and service.

Through these three days, SPF carried more than participation; we carried purpose. Every smile shared, every effort given, and every moment celebrated reflected the heart of what it means to be a Peer Facilitator — to uplift, to connect, and to serve with sincerity.

Together, we continue to grow as PEERs who are united in purpose, empowered by compassion, and driven to serve with heart. 💛

[𝐔𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐓] Ms. Reviane Ortega, our fellow USePiano, is currently facing a hard battle regarding her health condition. This said, she needs regular blood and platelet tranfusions due to a severe drop in her count. Finding donors has been a challenge, and her family members and close relatives are doing everything they can to support her.

That said, the 41st Council of Clubs and Organization uses its platform to humbly knock in everyone's heart, and look for kind souls who can help her be stable during this critical time. If you are healthy and eligible enough to donate blood, you may consider giving a part of yourself to help Reviane recover. The council will be giving out 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝟭𝟬 𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 to those who will donate.

[𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗟𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗗]

The 𝐒𝐏𝐅 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, held on January 30, 2026, served as a meaningful starting point for the Society of Peer Facilitators’ journey for the year. Guided by the theme “𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞: 𝐀 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠”, the session emphasized the importance of presence, active listening, and intentional support in peer facilitation.

The gathering provided an opportunity to strengthen
foundational skills, reflect on the responsibilities of holding safe and supportive spaces, and reaffirm the role of empathy and ethical care in peer support work. Through shared learning and dialogue, participants were reminded that effective service extends beyond knowledge—it is grounded in genuine presence, respect, and compassion.

As the organization moves forward, this session set the tone for continued growth, purposeful engagement, and sustained commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive environments within the community.

Today is the day!

Forty-seven years ago, the University of Southeastern Philippines was established through Batas Pambansa Bilang 12, a landmark law enacted in 1978 that gave life to a state university mandated to serve Mindanao and the nation.

With pride and celebration, the USeP family marks 47 years of building dreams, elevating excellence, and empowering communities. From its founding vision to its continuing and felt impact, the University remains true to its mandate to transform lives and communities through quality education, notable innovation, and responsive service.

Let us honor this legacy and move forward together toward greater success.

The 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 (𝗦𝗣𝗙) proudly
celebrated its 1st General Assembly, embracing the theme: "𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒉𝒊𝒖𝒔𝒂: 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒔 𝑷𝑬𝑬𝑹𝒔, 𝑫𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒃𝒚 𝑷𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆, 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆”.

This milestone event gave our members the chance to 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕, 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆 the spirit of PEERship while engaging with fellow members and SPF Officers for AY 2025-2026. Participants reflected on their roles, shared insights, and strengthened their commitment to serve the community with empathy and dedication.

The assembly also highlighted the importance of 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌, 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, inspiring everyone to carry forward the SPF mission in upcoming projects and initiatives. Together, we continue to 𝒖𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒕, 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆 with heart, unity, and purpose!

The Society of Peer Facilitators (SPF) once again proved its unwavering dedication to excellence, empathy, and service as it bagged multiple 2nd Place Awards during the prestigious 𝐂𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐊𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐘𝐎𝐍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓– 𝐀𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬, held last September 12, 2025, at the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) Social
Hall.

empathy over indifference and purpose over prestige.

This victory is not just a celebration of awards, but of shared commitment, genuine service, and transformative impact. As SPF
continues to grow and inspire, it remains steadfast in building bridges of compassion and understanding within and beyond the campus. Together, we listen. Together, we care. Together, we serve with a purpose.
