In this third episode, we compare the Philippine Eagle with another raptor: the White-bellied Sea Eagle.

Where you see them also gives an important clue. White-bellied Sea Eagles are usually found along coasts and near large rivers and lakes, while Philippine Eagles depend on forests.

Knowing the difference matters. The more people can recognize the Philippine Eagle, the better we can help protect it in the wild.
Behind every guide like this are field researchers documenting sightings, monitoring forests, and helping keep our national bird on the map.
