The Grand Finale drew near on 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, and the energy shifted. The bubbles were seen fleeting—a collective will that became a fragile breath of soap and water, destined to pop the moment it touched the stage. But for us, these bubbles were never just air. They were the silent carriers of our late nights, the shimmering vessels of our shared anxieties, and the iridescent dreams of a community that refused to stay grounded.

People from various backgrounds sat together to talk about their values and listen to each other’s stories. These conversations helped everyone see past their differences, proving that we can have different beliefs and still be part of one kind community.

After a shared lunch, the Interfaith Jam started at 1:00 PM, filling the air with music and energy. This celebration showed that art and rhythm can bring people together regardless of their traditions. It was a simple but powerful reminder that we can honor our own heritage while still respecting the beauty in others. By the end of the day, it was clear that while our customs might vary, we all share the same goal: to live together in peace and friendship.

The afternoon began with the Community Run. The streets in Obrero turned into a 3 Kilometer Course starting at the USeP Gate 1 with its route ending to the University Field, the run does not end on a string but in the tied the relationships between all the participants. The event saw an overwhelming turnout of teenagers, many of whom were joined by their parents, turning a simple athletic run into a meaningful family bonding.

A unique highlight of the run was the use of toy guns loaded with watered food colors throughout the route. At various intervals, participants were greeted by volunteers equipped with color-loaded buckets with a free cup of water for them to rehydrate if they wish to, dousing the runners in a variety of vibrant hues. These bursts of color served as a visual representation of the joy and diversity within the community. For the teenagers and children with their parents, being covered in these bright shades added playfulness to the serious mission of charity, turning the 3-kilometer journey into a shared, multi-colored memory of their family.

At the heart of this run, seeing families across the finish line covered with different colors while smiling and laughing with their friends, children, and loved ones was a powerful sight. Witnessing students, professionals, and casual runners participate together proved that this event truly represented the heart of the USePian community. By bringing everyone together in a spirit of joy and service, the initiative confirmed that the university is more than just a school; it is a place where everyone belongs and finds their true home

Hospitality took center stage as the event transitioned into a massive community gathering. In a gesture that mirrored the traditional Filipino fiesta, student officers took it upon themselves to ensure every attendee felt valued. Breaking the expectations of a typical school event, free meal inclusions were distributed directly to the crowd, fostering an atmosphere of abundance and care.
For visitors, the warmth was unexpected. A student from the University of Mindanao remarked: “Buotan kaayo ang mga officers! Sila pa mismo ang niduol sa amoa ug nanghatag sa mga inclusions. The CCOmunifest Raffle Draw served as the definitive highlight of the day’s proceedings, instilling a sense of profound anticipation throughout the day. As the drawing commenced, a focused silence fell over the venue, with students closely monitoring their entries in hopes of a favorable outcome.
A student whispered “Unta Mabunotan ko” — A statement that all of us wanted to happen but luck had its own way and a simple wish can have a big reason behind it. “Ug mabunutan ko, dako naning tabang sa akoa” a student said.

But, will faith find its way back to you when the chosen one is nowhere to be found? — The ground shook with disappointment when their names were not called upon for the big prizes, however, as the countdown started for the chosen one to be at the stage a whisper lingered “Naa kaya siya? unta naapa koy chance mabunotan ko”.

Several times, the luck of every person present was tested by the odds. However, the grand raffle prize was being claimed, and everyone started to cheer instead for the lucky winner. A runner shared “Pati ako nakulbaan biskan wala koy ticket”.

As the sun set, the University Field transformed for the CCOlor Burst Party. The air was filled with rhythmic beats and a sense of shared joy that transcended school affiliations. The party became a sanctuary for students to unwind, especially for those standing at the threshold of a new chapter in their lives.

For the graduating class, the night held a sentimental weight. One USeP Intern noted that the celebration served as the "best possible graduation gift," providing a moment of pure enjoyment before the rigors of the professional world begin.

The music and energy drew in a diverse crowd, proving that the bubbles of CCOmunifest reached far beyond the campus gates, it makes the students free – free and floating. A first-year student from BALCS (Janna Demafeliz) said “IT WAS SOOO FUN! The hype built around the event when it was first announced lived up to its expectations. From start to finish, the event's energy never died down since everyone, whether from inside or outside the campus, really enjoyed it. It even received multiple praises from visitors after it was finished. I can see the way it was organized contributed greatly to its success”

As the bubbles nearly reach its final destination, the true essence of a fiesta lies in its open arms. In Filipino culture, a fiesta isn’t just a party for the people who live there; it is a sacred tradition of welcoming every traveler, neighbor, and stranger as if they were family. The moment you stepped onto the University Field, you weren't just an outsider or a visitor—you were a family.

This feeling of being welcomed went beyond just an invitation. It was found in the smiles of every student, that even those from other schools felt the warmth of the USePian community. The CCOmunifest 2026, was the joy you have felt and your presence was what made the celebration complete. The time when we share the food, the music, and the space so freely, we prove that the best kind of growth happens when we make room for everyone at the table.

[𝟑/𝟑] 𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟬𝟮: The Culture of Mutual Respect

The second day of the event last April 22, 2026 served as a testament to the fact that genuine laughter and competitive fire thrive best within a culture of profound mutual respect. As students traded academic roles for the energy of the field, the shared bonds were strengthened not just by the thrill of the games, but by the professional sportsmanship displayed behind every cheer. This seamless blend of joy and honor proved that when an Agila soars, they do so with a disciplined commitment to uplifting their peers, turning every comedic tumble into a shared moment of institutional pride.

𝗣𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀

Forget the noisy stadium for a second — the real battle for glory happens on the screen.

While everyone was busy preparing and selling, a new kind of server was heating up the university field. The Cyberfest handled by the Agila eSports is not just a game of an eagle roaming around for prey but a passion in every student in the pixelated arena that is about to shine.

Every team reached its fever pitch as the atmosphere shifted into a mere play to a game that is full of mystery as the audience prayed for their chosen teams to win — it was a test of patience, trust and teamwork in every step they made.

Each team fought with a level of precision that turned every click and command into a statement of excellence. When the final Victory screen flashed, it wasn't just about the prizes — it was about the hours of unseen practice and the unwavering trust they have that led them to the top. These students proved that in the realm of the Agila, the greatest glory belongs to those who possess both the skill to soar and the heart of passion.

𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀

If you thought the university field is only for the drills and parades, the CCOmunity Games is the only exception. It was a day when dignity was traded for laughter, when figuring out how to jump backwards in a sack without eating grass. Under the guidance of the council, students step away from their comfort zones.

While some of the students are playing on the field, most of the students suddenly become detectives. They are being hunted — but are they looking for a ghost? no, they are hunting the hidden money around the campus!

The CCOmunity Booth Fair entered its second day, fostering an environment where laughter was loud and collaboration was ever-present. Organizations gathered students together not only to showcase their goals but to engage in community-building activities.

From interactive challenges to "charot" (jesting) future-reading sessions, the booths provided a much-needed creative outlet. The success of the fair was seen by the students themselves and said:
"Nalingaw ko kay daghan ko ug daog sa mga dula nga among naadtoan (I had so much fun because I won a lot in the games we went to)," one student shared.
Another added, "The booths this year are really creative; you can tell each organization spent weeks planning this. I hope to still see this in next year's intramurals."

As the afternoon came, the primary event, the Mr. and Ms. Club and Org, transcended the typical boundaries of a pageant. It served as a grand showcase for student representation, where each candidate acted as a formal ambassador for their respective clubs. Each participant wore a costume meticulously designed to reflect their organization’s advocacy, effectively turning the stage into a visual map of the university’s diverse interests and the collective voice of the student body.

Shemiah shared “Representing HANDURAWAN in this pageant was an incredible opportunity that pushed me past the anxiety of my first pageant. My community’s unwavering support—from crafting my innovative attire to standing by me at every practice—turned my doubts into strength. Wearing a design inspired by Manobo textiles and tattoos allowed me to reconnect with my indigenous roots and feel powerful in my own skin. By grounding myself in my identity, I realized that true beauty comes from defying narrow societal standards and believing in who you are”

While most of the candidates have an exceptional preparation displayed, one of the spectator was particularly moved by the dedication of one of them, the Youth for Animals. In a high-pressure environment where candidates usually rely on friends and handlers for support, he managed his entire preparation—including wardrobe and makeup—independently.

A student shared their admiration, "The pageant was more than just a show; it was a formal representation of what our clubs stand for. I was particularly amazed by the dedication shown by that candidate (Youth for Animals). Seeing him handling everything all by himself was truly inspiring.”

A candidate also said that “It was my first time participating in this kind of pageant, that I only need to bring myself and my advocacy so that everyone can know that our organization exist”

As the sun began to set, an open karaoke session was held. Various students joined, giving their own selection of music and showcasing their talent to all of the USePians. In a symbolic food every fiesta the student council announced the distribution of Ice Pop Inclusions. Included in their 10 pesos ticket, these refreshments became the most sought-after commodity of the day. The relentless heat became a central topic of humor among the students lining up for their treats.

One student, laughing while wiping away sweat, joked: "Iganga uy — sorry!"— a playful nod to the weather’s attempt to compete with her own energy. Her friend joined in the humor, questioning the limits of the ticket perks: "We were joking about whether we could get more than five pops?”

As the curtain fell on the second day of CCOMUNIFEST 2026, the atmosphere at the University remained one of profound unity and joy. From the inspiring self-reliance seen on the pageant stage to the vibrant collaboration within the booth fair, the day was a masterful display of student potential. These moments of laughter, creativity, and shared struggle against the heat are what truly define the university experience, proving that our strength lies in how we support and represent one another.

The success of the day serves as a reminder that every effort—whether big or small—contributes to the thriving community we are building together. As we look forward to the remaining days of the festival, we carry with us the energy of this celebration and the dedication of our student leaders.

With hearts full of pride and a commitment to our fellow USePians, we move forward together.

[𝟮/𝟑] 𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟬𝟮: The Culture of Mutual Respect

The second day of the event last April 22, 2026 served as a testament to the fact that genuine laughter and competitive fire thrive best within a culture of profound mutual respect. As students traded academic roles for the energy of the field, the shared bonds were strengthened not just by the thrill of the games, but by the professional sportsmanship displayed behind every cheer. This seamless blend of joy and honor proved that when an Agila soars, they do so with a disciplined commitment to uplifting their peers, turning every comedic tumble into a shared moment of institutional pride.
