KsFI Foundation, established in 2001, is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating lasting positive change in the Philippines. Their mission focuses on empowering individuals and communities, particularly those facing disadvantage, such as women, children, and the elderly. A Holistic Approach to Well-Being:

KsFI takes a comprehensive approach to well-being, promoting peace, health, and environmental sustainability. Their diverse programs address a range of needs - from providing halfway homes and skills training for street children to organizing environmental workshops that foster responsible stewardship. Strong Partnerships, Expanded Impact:

KsFI has a proven track record of collaboration, partnering with organizations like USAID and Consuelo Foundation. These partnerships have been instrumental in expanding KsFI's services in healthcare, governance, and child development across several regions in the Philippines. Current Focus: Quality Care and Food Security

KsFI is currently focused on two key areas:

Improving Maternal and Child Health: They actively monitor the Well Family Midwife Clinics (WFMCs) – an extension of the TANGO II program focused on delivering quality Maternal and Child Health (MCH) services and Family Planning (FP) – to ensure streamlined processes and the highest quality of care. Combating Food Insecurity: KsFI has partnered with RISE Against Hunger Philippines (RISE) to implement food distribution and food bank initiatives, addressing hunger and promoting food security in vulnerable communities. The food aid has reached Malapatan, but the story does not end here.

In this video, you will see the actual distribution of food support to affected families in Barangay Sapu Padidu, Municipality of Malapatan, Sarangani Province.

After the 7.8 offshore Sarangani earthquake, many families continue to face urgent needs as they recover and rebuild.

Through the partnership of Kinasang’an Foundation and Rise Against Hunger Philippines, together with staff, volunteers, and midwives, rice, food items, and juice for children were distributed to beneficiaries in the area.

Every bag handed out represented more than food.

It represented partnership.
It represented organized community support.
It represented a reminder that families affected by disaster still need attention, care, and practical help.

We are grateful to Rise Against Hunger Philippines, our team, volunteers, midwives, and everyone who took part in this relief effort.

But the need is still ongoing.

Families in the area continue to need food packs, hygiene kits, tents and trapal, drinking water, and kitchen kits.

After the 7.8 offshore Sarangani earthquake, the need in Malapatan is still real.

These photos show the food aid distributed to affected families in Barangay Sapu Padidu, Municipality of Malapatan, Sarangani Province.

Kinasang’an Foundation, in partnership with Rise Against Hunger Philippines, helped bring rice, food items, and support to families still recovering from the impact of the earthquake.

For many beneficiaries, these were not just relief goods.

They were meals for the family.
They were help during a difficult time.
They were a reminder that their community has not been forgotten.

We thank Rise Against Hunger Philippines, our staff, volunteers, midwives, local partners, and everyone who helped make this relief distribution possible.

But the need is not over.

Many families in the area still need continued support, including food packs, hygiene kits, tents and trapal, drinking water, and kitchen kits.

Courtesy call and WFMC clinic visitation/monitoring in Cebu.

Together with the WPFI staff, we visited the Cebu City Health Office to introduce and strengthen awareness about the presence of Well-Family Midwife Clinics (WFMC) and the continuing work of WPFI in community-based maternal and family health.

This was also part of our WFMC clinic monitoring and relationship-building with local health partners — because strong healthcare delivery does not happen in isolation. It grows through coordination, communication, and actual people sitting down at the table.

And yes, sometimes the most important healthcare work starts with a simple courtesy call, a clinic visit, bottled water on the table, and a serious conversation about how to serve communities better. 😄

Small meeting. Real purpose. Stronger partnership ahead.
