It also honors the legacy of a beloved departed Clinical Instructor, Ma'am Zarlyn Miraflores. More than an educator, she was a mentor who inspired us to persevere, serve with humility, and embody the true essence of nursing.

Just as a flower blooms through care and perseverance, this is a promise to continue to grow in knowledge, service, and dedication to our calling.

Hepatitis is a communicable disease that causes liver inflammation. Mode of transmission varies depending on the type of virus one has. There are 5 types of Hepatitis Virusโ€”๐‡๐ž๐ฉ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ ๐€, ๐, ๐‚, ๐ƒ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐„.

In the Philippines, hepatitis B still remains a health burden affecting 16% of the population.

May today remind us to guard our health against this virus. Stay updated, and stay vaccinated.

Last July 22, 2026, the Mother Ignacia Nurses Association culminated the National Disaster Resilience Month with a face-to-face symposium. Smiles were seen, and knowledge was enriched as the 1st Year College of Nursing took on the challenge to equip themselves for future disasters.

This activity aims to enhance participants' knowledge of disaster preparedness, risk reduction, and emergency response while highlighting the vital role of healthcare professionals in disaster management.
