Onwards to Change: Charting our Path

A group of volunteers which supported the candidacy of the then city mayor of Davao; part of a parallel group in the campaign; Upon careful examination and talks with key personalities that met under the circumstances of the previous group a new outlook and a strategic alliance was conceived under the spirit of service and volunteerism. A hand full of people met to set up the core and the foundation of an advocacy team. A Diagnosis was made focusing on the problems and challenges which beset the group and the strengths and weaknesses which by default are present. Then a direction was set upon the appreciation that our strengths outnumber our weaknesses. The group is a recognized civic group of The University of Mindanao promoting the dignity of volunteers and letting the youth contribute to their communities by letting them create initiatives and advocacies that are run by them. PMCD is proactive in helping the youth attain there full potential in service, voluntarism and leadership and be the breeding ground for public servants in any possible way. Along with it the group aims to help communities by developing industries that matter in empowering the power.
