✨ Empowering our PWD community through livelihood opportunities!

The different PWD chapters of Barangay Panacan successfully participated in the Livelihood Training on Liquid Detergent and Dishwashing Liquid Making facilitated by former Kagawad Mary Jean Estores Basalan.

We are truly grateful for her generosity in her time, skills and in providing the materials free of charge to our PWD participants, giving them an opportunity to learn practical skills for additional livelihood and income.

This meaningful activity was also made possible through the support of the Barangay Council of Panacan headed by Barangay Captain Dr. Ericson Batican

Together, we continue to promote inclusion, empowerment, and sustainable opportunities for the differently-abled community. 💙♿

Turning Possibilities into Practice 💙

This morning, our PWD Federation actively participated in a meaningful Service Learning Program held at Ateneo de Davao University entitled “Turning Possibilities into Practice: Business Models alang sa Differently-Abled Community Livelihood.”

Facilitated by the Marketing Department of Ateneo, this initiative empowers our differently-abled community by equipping them with knowledge and practical strategies in building sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Our heartfelt thanks to our Brgy. Capt Dr. Ericson Batican for making this collaboration possible and to Ateneo de Davao University.

Together, we continue to promote inclusion, empowerment, and endless possibilities for our PWD community. 💪✨

Following the issuance of PAGASA’s Weather Advisory placing Davao City under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 due to Tropical Storm Basyang, all classes at all levels in both public and private educational institutions in Davao City are hereby suspended effective 8AM today, February 5, 2026, until Friday, February 6, 2026.

This February, NCDA proudly invites everyone to join the nation in celebrating National Down Syndrome Consciousness Month.

Through Presidential Proclamation No. 157, issued on February 18, 2002, February was officially declared National Down Syndrome Consciousness Month—a time to raise awareness, promote inclusion, and honor the unique abilities, voices, and contributions of persons with Down Syndrome.

This month reminds us that understanding leads to acceptance, and acceptance builds a more inclusive society for all.

Earlier this morning, a Blood Letting Activity was successfully held through the initiative of our Punong Barangay, Dr. Ericson Batican , in celebration of his birthday., chosing to give the gift of life—an act of true service and compassion.

The PWD Panacan Federation proudly supported this meaningful activity, joining hands with the barangay in promoting care, bayanihan, and saving lives. Our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who participated and made this activity a success. ❤️🩸

Giklaro sa Person With Disabilities Office sa dakbayan sa Davao nga dunay cut-off sa mga makadawat sa unang payout sa Annual Cash Assistance sa mga PWD karong 2026.

Sumala ni Atty. Redendo Martinez, head sa Person With Disabilities Office nga ang nakarehistro sa opisina nga mga PWD sa Davao hangtod niadtong Oktubre sa nakalabay nga tuig (2025) ang unang batch sa makadawat sa ayuda.

Samtang, ang mga nagparehistro human sa maong bulan, ang sa sunod na usab nga budget inay karong tuig.

Gilauman ang unang pay-out sa Annual Cash Assistance sa mga differently abled person sa Davao nga mokabat sa 1,500 subay sa ordinansa , karong bulan sa Hunyo tuig 2026.

Ang budget alang sa tabang pinansyal ang mag-agad lang usab panudlanan sa LGU-Davao.
