Matagumpay ang naging sama-samang training ng mga chapter ng Kabataang FPOP sa buong bansa nitong nakaraang Sabado, April 25. Kasama sina Angelo Marfil at Kahel Rebadolla, tinalakay ng online training ang pagbubuo ng mga panawagan sa kampanya para sa comprehensive sexuality education at adolescent pregnancy prevention. Sa panahon ng malawakang mga atake ng anti-rights at anti-gender opposition actors sa buong mundo, pinapatibay ng organisasyon ang paninindigan nito para makiisa at manguna sa laban ng mga kabataan para sa kanilang sexual and reproductive health and rights!

On March 30, 2026, PAGLAUM successfully conducted its event 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 with the theme 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐧-𝐚𝐧: 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 at Enhancement Room, GET Building, University of Mindanao. The event gathered Indigenous and non-Indigenous students in a shared space of learning, dialogue, and cultural appreciation.

Through meaningful discussions and inspiring speakers, to 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐞 for her valuable discussion about Indigenous Women Empowerment and Struggles and to 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐳𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐨 for her talk on Women Sexual Reproductive and Rights.

The forum highlighted the importance of dialogue, awareness, and collective action toward preserving Indigenous identity and empowering women especially the younger ones to the next generation of culture bearers. Truly, it was a celebration and must stand in solidarity, and be part of strengthening cultural respect and empowerment.
