𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 | 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝟐 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

The Rotaract Club of Davao 2000 are prepared to dig in and dig deep as we participate in this year's tree planting activity at the Rotary Park in Marahan alongside other Rotary and Rotaract Clubs.

A little mud and dirt is nothing for a Rotaractor's spirit of service; and the hope that more trees will supply clean, fresh air to future generations.

Alongside the Rotary Club of Davao 2000, and in partnership with the Office of Atty. Sweet Advincula (Councilor, 3rd District Davao City & Assistant Governor for Area 2A), together with Gaisano Mall of Toril, DOLE XI Davao City Field Office , OWWA Overseas Workers Welfare Administration , Department of Migrant Workers , Rotary Club of Davao, various government and private agencies, the Rotaract Club of Davao 2000, assists in the Job Fair by handing out pens to job applicants aspiring for career opportunities.

In the competitive job market we have today, we are grateful that the city presents opportunities like job fairs to aid both employers and applicants in attaining a career path for a better life for Filipinos.

With a tremendous turnout, the event was a definite success and we are truly appreciative of this opportunity to witness such an inspiring event take place.

The Rotaract Club of Davao 2000 assists their sponsoring mother club, the Rotary Club of Davao 2000, during the Elderlympics 2025's ballroom dancing competition held at SM City Davao Annex.

It was a fun-filled day of music and dancing as our dear seniors graced the dancefloor with their respective dance categories of Chacha, Rumba, Boogie, Curacha, and Tango.

We congratulate those who participated and, especially, won the competition!

The Davao Council of Rotaract Clubs warmly welcomed District Rotaract Representative Jacob Erm Jericho Dolino as he met with them for the awaited DRR's Visit held at the SF Group of Companies in Davao City.

The clubs presented the progression of the current Rotary year to DRR Jacob and projects, challenges, and feedback were discussed.

Accompanying DRR Jacob were ADRR Albert Dalusa, ADRR James Darel Dignadice, ADRR Shekinah Marie Eupeña, DRGC Klyde Louise II Jarabelo, DICO Nina Repunte, and DGDS Benedict Erm Thaddeus Dolino. The visit was organized and led by ADRR Princess Jenina Estrellanes.

The president and secretary of the Rotaract Club of Davao 2000 are in attendance at their mother club's regular meeting.

In this meeting, the upcoming events of November are discussed. In particular, the upcoming Elderlympics to be held on November 10, 2025 at the SM City Davao Annex with the assistance of the rotaractors/volunteers to take the blood pressure of the participants who will be joining the event.

The Rotaract Club of Davao 2000 continues to participate in the 2nd day of Pink October, the Pink Day held at SM City Davao Annex.

To further empower women's knowledge of their health and wellness especially against breast cancer, there was a breast screening activity that was opened to all for the first part of the day.

The club's president and registered nurse, Eileene Lois Rojo, assisted in taking the vital signs of those who were to participate in the screening.

Once again, we extend our gratitude to Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of Downtown Davao for spearheading the Pink October events in Davao.

𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 | 𝐈𝐏𝐁𝐌'𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤: 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫

The Rotaract Club of Davao 2000 is grateful for the Southern Philippines Medical Center's Institute of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine for thinking of us to be part of their week-wide event.

In this seminar, barangay kagawads and health workers were taught the tools and skills to assist in psychological crises where mental health professionals may not be immediately available.

As co-advocators of mental health and wellbeing, we are honored to be part of this initiative.

The Rotaract Club of Davao 2000 participates in the Pink October activities starting with the Pink Walk. This movement aims to raise awareness for breast cancer - specifically advocating for its early detection and treatment.

As part of the District-wide Rotary Days of Service, the club is grateful to be part of these events to raise awareness for women's health. We extend our gratitude to the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of Downtown Davao in spearheading the event.

The items discussed included:
- The upcoming Pink October events (Pink Walk on the morning of the 6th & Pink Day on the 9th)
- The IPBM Mental Health Seminar which would be held on the 8th
