The Youth for Peace Movement Davao City was hailed as the ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ณ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง in the whole Davao City during the Dabawenyouth Awards 2023 last October 13, 2023 at the Grand Hall, World Palace Hotel.
The organization was represented by Mr. Jericho Emphasis the YFPM Davao Officer-in-Charge, Mr. Gerkin Ingay - YFPM Marilog Chapter President, Ms. Jasmine Villasan - Assistant Secretary and Ms. Fierndel Esto - Community Development Officer.
This accomplishment would not have been possible without the generous contributions, both financial and in-kind of the community partners especially the KASILAK Foundation headed by Mr. Joemil Montebon, Davao Light Power and Co., with Mr. Fermin Edillon, Mindanao Peace Council with Mamu Hope Fernandez, JCI Chapters in Davao Region and all individuals who supported our cause. These partnerships are a testament to the power of working together to make a positive difference in our community and beyond. We look forward to continued collaboration and the opportunity to achieve even greater heights together in the future. Thank you for your trust, dedication, and the invaluable partnership we share.
The organization also wants to express its profound gratitude to the Armed Forces of the Philippines' past and present Brigade, Battalions, and Special Holding Units in the area of the City of Davao and 10th Infantry Agila Division for their vital leadership and unflinching support. Their leadership and knowledge have contributed to the organization's success. Without you, we would not have succeeded in our mission. We appreciate you becoming a beacon of light for us, your dedication, resources, and spirit of cooperation have been crucial to our efforts. We anticipate further joint success in the future. We also acknowledged the guidance of our mentors/advisers who really helped our mission and guided us to be a better peace advocate not just in the city but in the whole country.
