📣 FREE Cyber Hygiene Training for HCDC Students & Davao Communities 📣

The Asia Foundation’s APAC Cybersecurity Fund, in partnership with Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) through the Institute of ASEAN-European Studies (IAES), cordially invites participants to a Cyber Hygiene Training designed to equip students and community members with essential cybersecurity knowledge and practical skills.

GRAND SCOUT PARADE
JULY 24, 2025

Background: The Davao City Council – Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) is celebrating its 60th Founding Anniversary – the Diamond Jubilee. This has been officially declared by the Sangguniang Panglungsod (City Council) as a year-long celebration, based on SP Resolution 0017-25. Various activities of the Council began on July 21–22.

The last Grand Scout Parade was in 1991, during the 25th Founding Anniversary celebration.

Our participation?
AOI RC3 and Senior Scouts assembled at AOI between 7:00 to 7:30 AM, and by 8:00 AM, proceeded directly to the Council to find our assigned area. From there, we followed the parade route. AOI lent their rubber boat, which was pulled by Rey Llanes' pick-up truck. RC3 members and senior scouts in uniform marched from BSP Council, and the parade ended at Rizal Park, where there were different competitions: Drum and Lyre Competition, Fancy Drill from KAB to Senior Scouts, and a Holy Mass at 12:00 noon.

There were also delegates from the regional office and Scout Leaders from other countries joining this special event.

Our presence has shown great support for Scouting in Davao City.

You pack the snacks, patch the uniforms, find the lost socks, and somehow still remember where the compass is. You’ve earned every badge in our book—especially the one for “Master of Organized Chaos.”
