The Bachelor of Science in Development Anthropology completed its internship program, totaling 324 hours rendered to four key partner agencies.
The event officially commenced with a welcome message from Ms. Jinefer S. Montayre, followed by a short message from the college dean, Dr. Lantajo.
A presentation prepared by the BSDA students showed their accomplishments during their internship journey. The BSDA students also took their time in sharing their personal takeaways as they experienced first-hand challenges and real-world scenarios in their respective partner agencies during their internship.
The students expressed their appreciation to the agencies they were assigned to, as these became their training ground and home all in one. A representative of the four agencies present at the event delivered a message of gratitude. Ms. Azereth A. Barton from the National Commission on indigenous Peoples (NCIP)- Region XI and Ms. Maria Corina T. Lopez from the National Museum of the Philippines (NMP)- Davao. A message from Atty. Mark Peรฑalver, through Ms. Marjaneh Cadis of the Interface Development Interventions for Sustainability (IDIS), was read during the event. Lastly, the Kalayag Child Care and Youth Community Center, Inc., was formally acknowledged as a valued partner of the BSDA department.
The event concluded with a video presentation, consisting of a compilation of the BSDA students' internship journey- a tribute to their hard work and professional growth.
