The Davao City Paddling Association (DACPA), together with the Dragons Del Sur Dragon Boat Team, proudly participated in the International Coastal Clean-Up 2026 organized under the Davao Fish Port Complex Management.

Beyond paddling and competition, we believe in giving back to our waters and protecting the environment that gives life to our sport. 🌊

Our paddlers joined fellow volunteers in keeping our coastline clean and promoting awareness on the importance of responsible waste management and ocean conservation.

Paddle. Protect. Preserve.
Together, let’s keep our waters clean for the next generation of paddlers. 💙

🏆 A NIGHT TO REMEMBER FOR DAVAO PADDLING SPORTS! 🏆

The Davao City Paddling Association (DACPA) is deeply honored to be recognized as one of the awardees during the 2026 Davao Sports Heroes Night, receiving a Plaque of Recognition for our efforts in promoting and developing paddling sports in Davao City. 🛶🌊

This recognition is more than an award—it is a testament to the collective effort of our paddlers, coaches, volunteers, parents, partners, and supporters who continue to believe in the power of sports to build stronger communities and inspire the next generation.

🙏 Our heartfelt gratitude to the Davao Sportswriters Association for this meaningful recognition and for giving paddling sports a platform to be seen and celebrated.

We also extend our appreciation to Philippine Sports Commissioner and 1992 Olympian, Walter Francis Torres for promoting the PSC’s vision of “Grassroots to Gold, Gold to Greatness.” Your commitment to developing athletes from the grassroots level reminds us that every champion starts with an opportunity to learn, train, and dream.

Our sincere thanks as well to Senator B**g Gofor his continued efforts in prioritizing sports for the youth and for supporting Filipino athletes every step of the way. 🇵🇭🏅

We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to Davao City Sports Development Division OIC Mikey Aportadera for his continuous support of our paddling programs and for helping create more opportunities for athletes and aspiring paddlers in Davao City.

This award inspires us to paddle farther, work harder, and continue building opportunities for young Dabawenyos through paddling sports.
