The Muslim Students for Peace and Solidarity (MSPS) extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited and supported our booth during the Philippine Halal Trade and Tourism Expo held at SMX Convention Center from June 3–5, 2026.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Mr. Cainor Abangon for entrusting us with his products and allowing us to showcase them during the event.

Our sincere gratitude also goes to our former president, Hon. Anwar Raupan, and Ma'am Marilou Ampuan, for giving us the opportunity to be one of the exhibitors in this prestigious gathering. Your trust and support made this experience possible for our organization.

To everyone who stopped by our booth, purchased products, shared words of encouragement, and showed their support, thank you. Your kindness and support mean a lot to us and inspire us to continue promoting halal awareness and empowering our community.

Eid’l Adha reminds us of the unwavering faith, obedience, and sacrifice exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS). As we celebrate this blessed occasion, may our hearts be filled with gratitude, compassion, and sincerity in serving Allah (SWT) and the Ummah.

HCDC at EducationUSA University Fair Spring 2026! 🙌

On May 23, 2026, the Holy Cross of Davao College ( ) participated at the EducationUSA University Fair Spring 2026 organized by EducationUSA Philippines, held at the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP), Obrero Campus.

The fair gathered students, educators, and representatives from various accredited U.S. colleges and universities to discuss international academic pathways and opportunities for higher education in the United States.

HCDC’s participation, led by the Center for Linkages, Internationalization and Language Studies, together with students from different programs, provides the community with opportunities to explore international engagement and transformative educational experiences.

These efforts contribute to the achievement of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals ( ) particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), reinforcing HCDC’s commitment to accessible, globally connected, and future-ready education.

The Muslim Students for Peace and Solidarity (MSPS) is honored to be featured by MindaNews for our initiative, Project As-Salam — “From Truth Comes Peace.”

This initiative was created to promote understanding, challenge stereotypes against Muslims, and encourage meaningful conversations within the academic community. As students and future professionals, we believe that building inclusive and respectful communities begins with education, dialogue, and unity.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported and participated in this advocacy. May this be another step toward peace, awareness, and stronger connections among all communities.

A student organization has launched a school-based initiative aimed at addressing stereotypes against Muslims. Dubbed “Project As-Salam: From Truth Comes Peace” and led by the Muslim Students for Peace and Solidarity (MSPS), the initiative targets students as future professionals who will help shape inclusive communities.
