๐๐๐๐๐๐, a meaningful gathering that brought together Muslim students to strengthen unity, faith, knowledge, and understanding despite our differences.
The assembly was graced by our esteemed guest speakers, ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ง๐ข ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐ข๐ ๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐จ, who shared meaningful reminders about the importance of unity within the Muslim community.
๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ง๐ข emphasized that our differences in culture and tribe, whether Kagan, Tausog, Maguindanao, Meranaw, Iranun, Sama, or Yakan, are not reasons for division. Instead, they give us an opportunity to know, understand, and respect one another. He reminded us that despite our differences, we are still called to help and support one another.
He also reminded everyone that ๐๐ฑ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐ก๐๐ฌ ๐ง๐จ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ฌ๐ฅ๐๐ฆ, highlighting the Qurโanic call to become an Ummah Wasatan, a just, fair, and moderate community where Muslims and people of other faiths can peacefully coexist.
he emphasized the ๐จ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ค๐ง๐จ๐ฐ๐ฅ๐๐๐ ๐, reminding students to pursue both Islamic knowledge and university education. Learning our Deen is wajib, while pursuing our university courses is fardhu kifayah. As students, we are encouraged to strive for excellence in both.
Meanwhile, ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐ข๐ ๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐จ reminded the assembly that true unity and success can only be achieved by holding firmly to the teachings of the ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ก ๏ทบ and the example of his Sahabah. He emphasized that the unity of the Muslim community becomes stronger when we follow the principles and values that guided the early Muslims.
He further reminded us that division weakens the community, while unity gives Muslims the strength to stand together. True unity is not only something we speak about, but something we practice through faith, understanding, cooperation, and adherence to the teachings of Islam.
MSPS extends its heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed guest speakers, ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ง๐ข ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐ข๐ ๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐จ,for sharing their time, knowledge, and meaningful reminders with us. May Allah reward them abundantly for their efforts and for inspiring the MSPS community to strengthen our faith, pursue knowledge, and uphold unity despite our differences.
The gathering served as a reminder that unity does not mean being the same. Rather, it means embracing our differences while remaining connected through our shared faith, values, and purpose. May these reminders continue to inspire every MSPS member to choose understanding over division, knowledge over ignorance, and unity over differences.
Barakallahu Feekum!
