🌈 We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the SOGIE and HIV Awareness Orientation, held on September 13, 2026, at the Session Hall of Brgy. Bucana 76-A! This event was made possible by the collaborative efforts of SUGA (Sandawa United G**s Association) and Higala Community Center. ❤📢🥰

Our sincerest appreciation goes to LGBT Davao City Coalition and Higala Community Center for their invaluable support and to Brgy. Bucana 76-A for providing the venue. The enthusiasm and participation of all attendees made this event truly special.

The orientation provided valuable insights into SOGIE and HIV, empowering us to foster a more inclusive and supportive community. Let's keep spreading love, acceptance, and understanding!

SUGA brought the sparkle, the slay, and the good vibes as we joined the 1st District LGBT Davao City Coalition in celebrating its 10th Anniversary last August 30, 2026, at Throwback Bar, Agdao, Davao City! 🌈🥂

From the glittering fits and sing-along sessions to the LGBT Quentohan, disco beats, potluck treats, and surprise moments, it was definitely a night to remember! 💃🕺✨

More than just a celebration, it was a beautiful reminder of 10 years of unity, advocacy, friendship, and continued work for the LGBTQIA+ community. ❤️🏳️‍🌈

Congratulations on a decade of making space, creating connections, and keeping the community shining bright! 🌟

The Sandawa United G**s Association (SUGA), in cooperation with the Higala Community Center, invites everyone to the SOGIESC Bill and HIV Awareness Seminar on September 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Brgy. 76-A, Phase 1 Gym.

🚨🌈 READY TODAY. SAFER TOMORROW. 🌈🚨

Last September 4, 2026, SUGA successfully conducted its Disaster Preparedness Orientation at the Covered Court/Gym, Phase 2, Sandawa, bringing together our SUGA members and residents of the community.

We were grateful to learn from Sir Nelson “Bobot” Mende, representative of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), who shared valuable knowledge on earthquake and tsunami preparedness, emergency response, and the Davao City Government’s disaster risk reduction and management programs and initiatives.

Preparedness isn’t just about knowing what to do—it’s about being ready to help ourselves, our families, and our community when it matters most. 💪🏽

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and made the activity meaningful. Special thanks to Con. Tek Ocampo for generously providing lugaw/congee for our participants. 🥣❤️

Last July 31, 2026, SUGA proudly joined the Mangrove Tree Planting Activity at the Matina Aplaya Coastline, an inspiring initiative of LakBai Tinabangay Volunteers, Inc.

Every mangrove planted is a promise—to protect our coastlines, preserve marine life, and leave a greener future for the next generation. 🌿

To our SUGA officers and members who volunteered their time and effort, thank you for proving that community service begins with action.
