Last March 24, 2026, graduating Electrical Engineering students stepped beyond the classroom and into the heart of real-world power systems during the Substation and Control Technical Tour at the Davao Light Substation and Control Center.

From theories and simulations to live high-voltage operations, the tour offered a valuable glimpse into the integration of protection, control, and switching equipment that keeps our city powered and resilient. More than just a visit, it was a meaningful opportunity to witness industry standards, understand safety protocols, and engage with professionals who ensure reliable energy distribution every day.

In celebration of Engineering Month, this experience bridged academic knowledge with practical application—empowering future engineers to take on the responsibility of building and sustaining smarter, more reliable energy systems for the community.⚡

Circuits connected and minds competed as Thinker Quest took center stage for Electrical Engineering at SEA Fair 2026, challenging teams to turn theory into action through high-pressure rounds where precision, timing, and focus defined success. Alongside the intense competition, the Electrical Engineering booth showcased interactive displays.
