Today happened one of the most defining and heroic moments in Philippine history. On February 25, 1986, millions of Filipinos stood united in courage and conviction, rising together in peaceful action to reclaim democracy and defend freedom. Along EDSA, ordinary citizens became extraordinary heroes, proving that the true strength of a nation lies in its people.

May this historic triumph continue to ignite responsibility within us—encouraging every generation to remain vigilant, uphold justice, and preserve the hard-earned freedoms that shaped our nation’s future.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒| 𝐈𝐏 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫

On Friday, February 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the HCCC Covered Court, the IP Club conducted an inspiring and meaningful symposium designed to inform, empower, and connect. College students listened, learned, and reflected as they explored diverse perspectives and shared experiences under the theme “𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭.” This event aimed to foster dialogue, promote inclusivity, and strengthen mutual respect across cultures, encouraging everyone to become more aware, compassionate, and united in our community.

The event was successfully conducted, and a huge thanks to our guest speaker, Engr. Shane Marie Blanco Awe. We learned about cultural awareness, cultural appreciation, and identity.

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the Indigenous People's Club participated in a gift-giving event themed "Gifts of Love: A Christmas Outreach Program" at Sto. Falcata, Barangay Salaysay, Marilog District. The event was a success thanks to the collaboration of the Indigenous People's Club, Social Action Club, Communicators Club, Math-Sci Club, Mentors Division, Magnates Division, and the Supreme Student Council (SSC).

Today, October 3, 2025, Holy Cross College of Calinan Inc. celebrated Employees’ Day in recognition of the dedication of the school’s employees, who work tirelessly to provide quality education to our dear students. The Indigenous Peoples Club was one of the clubs that joined the celebration, offering warm greetings and a heartwarming bouquet to our beloved employees.

Woven fabric patterns tell stories of ancestry, resilience, and creativity passed through generations. These textiles are living documents of identity.

Elders teaching weaving transfer sacred knowledge, ensuring traditions live on in young hands. Their guidance bridges yesterday and today.

Indigenous dance and music connect the present to the past, keeping community spirit alive through rhythm and ritual.

Sacred landscapes remind us that land is home, heritage, and identity—not just a resource.

Yesterday, September 26, 2025, the IP Club joined the poster-making contest related to the theme "Mapayapang Bukas, Abot-Kamay sa Bagong Pilinas." This showcased the importance of celebrating and practicing our democratic values, such as freedom of speech, to advocate for peace in our community.

Additionally, on September 27, 2025, the IP Club also participated in the Walk for Peace. Using their poster, they proudly displayed it, aiming to advocate for peace in our community. It was also a great honor to be awarded as the "Most Behaved Club" among the other participating clubs during the Walk for Peace.

Thank you so much to the members for representing our club during the poster-slogan contest and for participating in the Walk for Peace. Congratulations to our club!
