Unyon Mindanao – Mindanao Confederation of University Student Governments officially released Resolution No. 003-2526 on August 1, 2026, proclaiming Francheska Mariel Belarma of Ateneo de Zamboanga University (AdZU) as the duly elected President of the confederation for Academic Year 2026–2027.

The resolution formally certified the results of the Presidential Election held on May 31, 2026 through Google Meet, following the nomination, deliberation, voting, and canvassing process conducted in accordance with the Unyon Mindanao Constitution and By-Laws.

Belarma obtained the required majority vote of the Mindanao Congress and was officially proclaimed as the next President of the confederation.

In accordance with the official election process of Unyon Mindanao, this resolution formally proclaims the Newly elected President who will serve for Academic Year 2026–2027. For the information and guidance of all member institutions. Lagi't Lagi Para sa Kabataan, Bayan, at Mindanao.

As we celebrate these accomplishments, we remain grounded in humility, proving that even a 𝓬𝓻𝓸𝔀𝓷 𝓸𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓰𝓻𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭 still carries the responsibility to serve, lead, and uplift others. ⚜️

On April 11, 2026, the summit continues as the delegates experience the second and last day of Crowned on the Ground, the Mindanao Confederation Year-end Culmination Summit.

The delegates welcomed a night of revelry, recognizing the excellence and innovation of various leaders and initiatives in The Mindanao Youth Awards. Lastly, the turnover of leadership came as both an end and a beginning — a reminder of how far we’ve come, and the trail of discoveries ahead.

This term may have ended, but these crowned gems carry forward a mission that will continue to shine for a better Mindanao.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Crowned on the Ground Day 2 (Day Activities) ⚜️

On April 11, 2026, the summit continues as the delegates experience the second and last day of Crowned on the Ground, the Mindanao Confederation's Year-end Culmination Summit.

The day began with an exploration of Davao City’s vibrant history in the National Museum of the Philippines - Davao. Right after that, the clusters of gems raced around the grounds of People's Park for a teambuilding activity.

In their afternoon tour of the City Hall and Council, the representatives witnessed leadership in action. These moments were not only monumental milestones for these delegates, but they also helped refine their purpose and fortified their collective vision for leadership that’s intentional and impactful.

In a space where grit meets glory, bonds are formed, stories are shared, and something greater begins. 💎

In the afternoon of April 10, 2026, brilliant leaders all across Mindanao gathered together for Crowned on the Ground, The Mindanao Confederation’s Year-end Culmination Summit, to advance their shared mission of fostering unity and principled leadership among higher education institutions in the region.

The day unfolded through fun, interactive games that served as an avenue for delegates to get to know each other on a deeper level and an opportunity to network and solidify strategic collaborations amongst Mindanao’s student governments.

Mheldrine A. Celleros, the ambassador of the Unyon Mindanao-CotSU Chapter represented the office at the Bangsamoro YoutHours on September 30, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
