Ooos, Ooos, Ooos! Last July 29, 2026 during the 3rd day of CAMPUS HAKBANG: The USeP Freshmen Integrated Onboarding Program 2026, we officially ushered in the 9th batch of Bachelor of Library and Information Science students with EDITION 9: Freshie Campus Tour & Acquaintance Party! ๐ŸŽ‰

Our freshies received an insightful orientation into the program led by GYIS Adviser Ms. Annacel Delima, followed by a fun-filled tour and acquaintance gathering led by GYIS Outgoing President Shemaiah Shane Caguimbal, CIC-LC Outgoing Governor Kristina Bernadette Amielle Vergara, and CICLC Outgoing PIO Liean Nicole Salibay.

[๐—š๐—ฅ๐—˜๐—”๐—ง ๐—ก๐—˜๐—ช๐—ฆ!] The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP), through its College of Information and Computing (CIC), celebrates its outstanding performance in the September 2026 Librarians Computer-Based Licensure Examination (LLE).

USeP ranked 8th among the top-performing schools nationwide, posting an impressive 89.66% overall passing rate, surpassing the 74.95% national passing rate.

We warmly congratulate our newly licensed librarians for their perseverance, dedication, and hard work. We also extend our appreciation to the University and College administrators, faculty, staff, and all those who supported our graduates throughout their academic and professional journey.

This session provided a space for each organizationโ€™s head and members to speak up their current challenges and concerns, prompting the 41st CCO officers to work harder and think critically to be able to suggest practical solutions and lend a hand for support. Consequently, the chairpersons of the session also spoke of the 41st councilโ€™s planned initiatives for the rest of the academic year which the organizationโ€™s head and members attentively listened to.

The University of Southeastern Philippines Tagum-Mabini Campus proudly marks a milestone as Dr. Winda B. Cejas is elected Member of the Executive Council (ExeCon) of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts - National Committee on Libraries and Information Services (NCCA-NCLIS) for the 2026โ€“2028 termโ€”a distinction that places USeP at the forefront of national conversations on knowledge access, information governance, and library development.

Dr. Cejasโ€™ election is more than a personal achievement; it is a vote of confidence in her leadership, expertise, and long-standing commitment to advancing libraries as engines of learning, research, and inclusive development.
