A week of celebration concluded with an evening dedicated to leadership, service, fellowship, and recognition.
The PICPA Davao Chapter proudly welcomed its newly inducted officers and committee chairpersons for FY 2026โ2027 in a meaningful ceremony led by our esteemed Inducting Officer, ๐๐๐๐. ๐ฅ๐ผ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐. ๐ฃ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐ผ๐ฐ, Past National President of PICPA.
The chapter also expressed its sincere appreciation to ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐น๐ผ ๐. ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ฐ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป, Outgoing Chapter President (FY 2025โ2026), for his dedicated leadership and service, and warmly welcomed ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐ฆ๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐น ๐. ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐บ๐ฎ as the Chapter President for FY 2026โ2027 as he delivered his inaugural address and officially assumed the mantle of leadership.
The evening was further honored by the presence of Hon. ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ๐น๐บ๐ฎ ๐. ๐๐ถ๐๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ป๐ผ, Member of the Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy, whose attendance underscored the significance of the occasion and the continued partnership between the profession and its regulatory body.

The celebration also gathered numerous respected Certified Public Accountants from the four sectors of the professionโPublic Practice, Commerce and Industry, Government, and Academeโreflecting the unity and shared commitment of the accounting community in advancing the profession.
The evening also featured the 1st Quarter General Membership Meeting, where Chapter President ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐ฆ๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐น ๐. ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐บ๐ฎ presented his President's Report, outlining the chapter's accomplishments, strategic direction, and plans for the year ahead.
As the culminating activity of the week-long celebration, the Accountancy Week Culmination and Awarding Night recognized the individuals and teams whose excellence and sportsmanship made this year's festivities a remarkable success. The week's notable events were presented by ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐น ๐ช๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ๐ผ, Chairperson of the Accountancy Week Celebration 2026, followed by the awarding of champions and participants across the various sports, academic, professional, and community engagement activities. The program concluded with inspiring closing remarks from ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ป ๐ฃ. ๐ ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ผ๐๐ฎ, President-Elect.
The chapter likewise extends its appreciation to ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ป ๐ ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ฏ๐ฎ๐, Vice President for Membership Development, for delivering the Welcome Address and administering the Oath of CPAs, and to ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ด๐๐ถ๐ผ for ably serving as the Master of Ceremonies throughout the evening.
