QUALIFICATIONS:
1. willing to participate in organizational activities, especially meetings and monthly or quarterly activity.

2. Willing to attend the LGBT DCC activities mandated by LGBT DCC by laws.

3. Active in GC and willing to communicate with other members.

4. Willing to pay for the registration and monthly dues mandated by our organization by laws.

5. LGBT of course resident of BARANGAY 7-A Davao City or Transient resident with at least 6 months residency.

United LGBT of Malvar Condemns Discriminatory Actions in Pagalungan, Maguindanao Del Sur

The United LGBT of Malvar vehemently condemns the recent actions taken in Pagalungan, Maguindanao Del Sur, where members of the LGBTQ community living as partners were reportedly taken to the Barangay Hall under the guise of "Operation Supak." This constitutes a grave violation of human rights and a blatant act of discrimination.

According to reports, these individuals were targeted based solely on their sexual orientation and gender identity, and their living arrangements were deemed "inappropriate." Such actions are not only discriminatory but also run contrary to the principles of equality, respect, and human dignity enshrined in the Philippine Constitution.

We assert that:

1. Discrimination is Illegal and Immoral: Targeting individuals based on their sexual orientation and gender identity is a violation of their fundamental rights.

2. Diversity Must Be Respected: The LGBTQ community is a valued part of our society, and their relationships deserve the same recognition and respect as any other.

3. Dialogue and Education are Key: Instead of resorting to discriminatory measures, we urge local authorities to engage in open dialogue and education to promote understanding and acceptance.

The United LGBT of Malvar calls on:

- Local Authorities in Pagalungan: To cease all discriminatory actions against the LGBTQ community and ensure their safety and well-being.

- The Commission on Human Rights: To investigate this incident thoroughly and hold those responsible accountable.

- National Government: To strengthen existing laws and policies that protect the rights of LGBTQ individuals and ensure their equal treatment under the law.

We stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ community of Pagalungan and will continue to advocate for their rights and dignity. We urge all Filipinos to join us in condemning discrimination and promoting a society where everyone is treated with respect and equality.
