Universities Join Forces to Promote Smoke-free and Vape-free Campuses

Baguio City, Philippines - Reaffirming their commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of young people, the City Government of Baguio and seven higher education institutions signed Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) on 14 October 2026, at the Baguio City Hall Multipurpose Hall. The agreements aim to strengthen the declaration and enforcement of smoke-free and v**e-free policies within school campuses.

The partnership involves the City Government of Baguio and the following institutions: Baguio Central University, Easter College, Pines City Colleges, the University of Baguio, the University of the Cordilleras, the University of the Philippines Baguio, and Saint Louis University.

Through this collaboration, the participating institutions reaffirm their shared commitment to promoting healthier learning environments and protecting students from the harmful effects of smoking and va**ng.
