Four years ago today, a moment of deep honor and cultural significance was etched in history. Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy was bestowed the revered title “Datu Pamulingan”—an Obu Manuvu name meaning “one who possesses a discerning spirit and a divine gift from God.”
Recognized as a spiritual leader, he is regarded as one whose words carry power and come to fulfillment, and as one who possesses a God-given spirit believed to manifest phenomena such as fire, rain, and other natural occurrences.
This sacred recognition was conferred by the Mindanao Indigenous Peoples Conference for Peace and Development (MIPCPD), in tribute to his profound love, unwavering commitment, and enduring service to Indigenous Peoples and Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICCs/IPs) throughout the Philippines.
A legacy of faith. A symbol of unity. A testament to a calling that continues to inspire and uplift generations.
