Last week, our Rotary Club of Davao family gathered for our 5th Luncheon Meeting at Rekado Filipino Comfort Cuisine for another meaningful afternoon of fellowship, updates, and engaging discussions on our upcoming activities and projects. ⚙️💙

The meeting was made even more special with our guest speaker, Dr. Lyn Dedase, an allergologist and immunologist, who shared valuable insights about allergies.

The Rotary Club of Davao – Committee on Service Project headed by Rotarian Jasper Resari is reaching out to our generous friends and community partners to help us create the Lampa Lapidan Children’s Reading Corner—a welcoming space where children can read, learn, imagine, and dream.
We are accepting unused or pre-loved wooden items that can be repurposed:
📚 Wooden bookshelves
🗄️ Open wooden cabinets
🪵 Small to medium wooden boxes

Instead of letting unused furniture go to waste, give it a new purpose and help us build a place where young minds can grow. Every shelf donated can hold a story. Every seat created can become a child's favorite place to read.

Ending the month with fellowship, learning, and service!

The Rotary Club of Davao successfully held its 3rd Luncheon Meeting on July 30, 2026, at Rekado Filipino Comfort Cuisine, Emilio Jacinto Extension, Poblacion District, Davao City.

Our heartfelt thanks to our guest speaker, Ms. Ervy "Tweetie" Bullecer, for her inspiring talk on Pole Fitness & Aerial Arts. We also thank all our fellow Rotarians for another meaningful gathering filled with camaraderie, club updates, and discussions on our upcoming projects and activities.

World Day Against Trafficking in Persons

The Rotary Club of Davao proudly joined the observance of the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, standing alongside government agencies, partner organizations, and volunteers in promoting awareness and extending meaningful services to the community.

Beyond raising awareness on human trafficking and online scams, the event brought together various organizations to provide free medical, dental, and eye care services, legal assistance, and social welfare support—demonstrating the power of collaboration in protecting and empowering our communities.

With this year's theme, "Isang Aksyon, Isang Nasyon, Tapusin ang Human Trafficking Ngayon," we reaffirm our shared responsibility to safeguard human dignity, support vulnerable individuals, and build a future free from exploitation.

The Rotary Club of Davao proudly participated in the "Your Blood, Their Tomorrow" Blood Donation Drive held on July 12, 2026 at Stella Maris Academy of Davao.

Organized by the Rotary Club of South Davao in partnership with the Stella Maris Academy of Davao PTA, participating Rotary clubs—Davao, North Davao, East Davao, and the Satellite Club of North Davao—and ACBM, this meaningful initiative brought together volunteers and blood donors to help save lives.
