— 𝟏, 𝟐, 𝐘𝐄𝐒!! ✨👏

On June 12–13, 2026, the Barangay Children’s Association Officers actively participated in the 2026 Youth Leadership Development Camp, a transformative two-day event held at the scenic Eden Nature Park in Barangay Eden, Toril. Organized in close collaboration with The Makialam Group and their Officers, the camp served as a powerful platform designed to instill the core values of visionary leadership and impactful community service. Set against the tranquil backdrop of Toril's highlands, the environment provided the perfect atmosphere for these young leaders to step outside their comfort zones, reflect on their responsibilities, and discover their potential to drive positive change.

The comprehensive program was carefully structured to challenge the participants and redefine their understanding of what it means to lead. Through a series of intensive workshops and collaborative team-building exercises, the youth explored the vital mechanics of great communication, active listening, and strategic problem-solving. Every hectic activity and fast-paced challenge was engineered to mirror real-world community issues, forcing the officers from both organizations to align their goals, sync their efforts, and learn how to manage diverse teams with empathy and resilience.

Beyond the structured training, the true heart of the camp lay in the genuine camaraderie built between the Barangay Children’s Association and The Makialam Youth Movement SASA . The shared exhaustion from the physical activities quickly dissolved into shared laughter, culminating in a deeply moving open forum around the warmth of an evening bonfire. In this space of vulnerability, officers shared their personal stories, aspirations, and the common challenges they face in community building. By the time the camp concluded, the bond between the two groups was undeniably strong, laying down a solid foundation for future collaborations aimed at making their community a significantly better, more united place.

None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of our community leaders and mentors. The officers extend their deepest gratitude to KAPITAN JERRY LICARTE, KAGAWAD Maria Celyn Noya Padpad and the dedicated staff members and social workers whose hard work made this amazing opportunity a reality. Their investment in the youth continues to inspire the next generation of leaders to serve with passion and integrity. 🏕💚

The month of June brings a vibrant wave of color, reflection, and celebration as we honor Pride Month. This month is a dedicated time to look back at the courageous history of those who fought for the right to exist openly, while simultaneously looking forward to a future built on genuine equality. Pride Month is more than just a celebration; it is a profound reminder of the power of visibility, the strength found in community, and the ongoing journey toward a world where everyone can live authentically without the fear of judgment and criticism from other people. This month serves as a beautiful testament to the absolute universality of human connection.

This quote by Melissa Etheridge defines the meaning of Pride Month. Because, it challenges us to strip away the arbitrary barriers that society often builds and instead focus on the shared emotion that binds us all. When we strip away the noise, the fundamental truth remains clear and unchanging that love is never wrong—despite the gender, religion, or race. Embracing this means recognizing that every person's capacity to love and be loved is equally valid, sacred, and deserving of respect.

As the festivities unfold, let us carry this spirit of unconditional acceptance far beyond the parades and flags. True solidarity means actively choosing kindness, standing up against prejudice, and creating spaces where diversity is not just tolerated, but joyfully celebrated. May this Pride Month inspire us all to lead with empathy, champion inclusivity, and fiercely protect the freedom of every individual to love exactly who they are.

Think before you click. There is so much content on the internet, but not everything you see online is true, safe, or reliable. That one website may seem truthful, but it may actually pose as something that can result in being scammed, infected by viruses, spreading misinformation, or even having your private information stolen.

It only takes one click for any online account and even your computer system to be at risk. Scammers are constantly using engaging sites to prey on their victims. Therefore, it is extremely important that we stay aware on what we do online. Think before you click; it is always better to be safe than sorry.

Thinking about what you are about to do before clicking can go a long way. Being careful in the online world keeps us safe.

Its Mental health awareness month. A month to acknowledge people who faces different battles everyday, even the people you're closest to. And A Month to remind us that Mental health awareness is about stripping away the judgement and recognizing that it’s completely okay not to be okay.

Everyone goes through challenges, and it’s normal to feel overwhelmed sometimes, but taking care of your mental health means allowing yourself to rest, express your feelings, and ask for help when needed. There is no shame in struggling, and reaching out to trusted people or professionals can make a big difference. Just like physical health, mental health deserves attention, care, and understanding every day.

Don't hesitate to reach out. You don't have to go through everything alone, Reaching out for help doesn’t make you weak it means you’re strong enough to keep going. Believe there are always brighter days ahead because YOU matter more than you realize, Take things one step at a time, Protect your peace, And take care of your mental health. You deserve the same love and gentleness that you give to others. 🤍
