About Us
Plastic Free Bohol is a movement that actively campaigns against single-use plastics by influencing systemic and lifestyle change by facilitating beach cleanups, education campaigns, dialogues with multiple stakeholders, including industries and business establishments, and policy advocacy at both local and national levels.
The initiatives of Plastic Free Bohol (PFB) aim to help address plastic pollution, particularly in the Philippines, which is one of the top marine polluters in the world. PFB is actively participating in global efforts to reduce the production and consumption of plastics and transition away from petrochemical industries and big oil.
Plastic Free Boholβs advocacy intersects with other socio-environmental issues, such as climate action, environmental justice, and clean energy, and seeks to create meaningful, inclusive, and sustainable change for all.
