In celebration of Clean-Up Drive Month this January, the ‘Jog for the Environment: A Community Clean-Up Drive’ was successfully conducted on January 31, 2026, from Dasol Integrated School to Dasol Arc. Thank you to SSLG, BKB, and all participating school clubs for supporting and helping YES-O make this environmental advocacy a success!

As Bagyong Uwan continues to move closer to Northern Luzon, Dasol and the rest of Pangasinan are expected to experience strong winds and heavy rains beginning this weekend.
According to the latest forecast, the center of the storm may pass directly through our province.

POSSIBLE IMPACTS:
Intense to torrential rains — may cause flooding and landslides
Strong to damaging winds — may affect power lines and light structures
Possible storm surge in coastal areas
Power interruptions and infrastructure damage

𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗦𝗗𝗢 𝗜 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

In celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month 2025, student-leaders and teacher-advisers from Dasol Integrated School proudly took part in the Flagship Activity spearheaded by the Schools Division Office I Pangasinan on September 2, 2025 at the Pangasinan Training and Development Center, Lingayen, Pangasinan, with the theme:

“𝘌𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴.” 💪🤝

The event gathered YES-O Secondary Presidents, SSLG Presidents, SELG Presidents, YES-O Elementary Presidents, and their Teacher-Advisers from various schools across the Division. Their presence emphasized the important role of learners and educators in championing disaster preparedness and resilience in the community.

The one-day convergence featured significant and timely sessions such as:
✅ Project A.B.K.D. (Awareness on Bombs that Kill and Destroy Lives and Properties) – Western Pangasinan Provincial Explosive Ordnance Disposal Canine Unit Team
✅ Road Safety – PPO HPG Lingayen
✅ Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Practices – Hon. Edren M. Llanillo, Sangguniang Bayan Councilor (Municipality of Bugallon) and former Executive Director, PadyaRescue, Inc.
✅ 911 Emergency Response, Basic Life Support, and First Aid Training – Pangasinan PDRRMO

Through this activity, our student-leaders and advisers gained knowledge, awareness, and hands-on skills that will enable them to respond to emergencies, promote safety, and advocate for resilience within their school and community.

This meaningful experience empowered our learners to become active partners in disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM), ensuring that preparedness, safety, and unity remain strong values in building a resilient future.

Flag Ceremony | September 1, 2025 🇵🇭✨

Isang makabuluhan at masiglang pagsisimula ng buwan ang isinagawa kahapon sa ating Flag Ceremony. Pinangunahan ng YES-O Organization ang paghahanda at pag-aayos ng lahat ng kailangan para sa maayos at matiwasay na daloy ng seremonya.

Binigyang-kulay at sigla rin ang programa sa pamamagitan ng Dance Sports Club na nanguna sa pagsayaw ng Zumba, na tunay na nagpasaya at nagpasigla sa lahat ng kalahok. Samantala, ang ating mga Junior High School students ay nanatili pagkatapos ng flag ceremony upang makiisa at makibahagi sa Morning Zumba Activity, bilang bahagi ng promosyon ng kalusugan at kasiglahan sa paaralan.

Sa kabuuan, ang araw na ito ay patunay ng pagkakaisa, pakikipagtulungan, at aktibong partisipasyon ng mag-aaral para sa mas makulay at makahulugang karanasan sa ating paaralan. 💚🇵🇭💃🕺

The 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 𝙊𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝙔𝙀𝙎-𝙊) 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 proudly joined the Communication, Education, and Public Awareness (CEPA) Campaign under the Maasin River Wetland Management Plan. This campaign reminded us that wetlands like Maasin are not just bodies of water — they are lifelines for people, wildlife, and our climate.

• Wetlands act as natural filters, cleaning our water from pollutants.
• They store floodwaters, reducing damage during heavy rains and storms.
• Mangroves in wetlands can store up to four times more carbon than most forests — helping fight climate change.
• Maasin River’s wetlands provide a safe home for many species that depend on clean, healthy habitats to survive.

Together with Tambobong National High School, Eguia National High School, Malimpin National High School, DENR–PENRO, DENR–CENRO, MENRO, and LGU Dasol, we took part in discussions and knowledge-sharing on how the youth can take an active role in protecting these valuable ecosystems.

Every small action — from proper waste disposal to planting mangroves — helps ensure Maasin River stays alive and thriving for the next generations. 🌱

The Science Club, under the guidance of our adviser Ma’am Elvira Buaga and with the support of YES-O President Rhoda Kai Cabaña, who gladly assisted in facilitating the Science Club election. As both organizations aim to work hand in hand, YES-O and the Science Club will join forces for future events and activities.

Our main projects include a Science Fair, exciting Hands-on Experiments, and a Special Field Trip, all while promoting Environmental Awareness. We’re also gearing up for the celebration of National Science Month this September!

Noong Agosto 12, 2025, sabay-sabay na naglibot at nagbigay ng anunsyo ang 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙊𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (YES-O) tungkol sa RE-BOTTLE PROJECT na layuning mabawasan ang plastic waste.

Magbibigay ang YES-O ng trash bags sa bawat silid-aralan para sa mga plastic na bote o kaya naman magbigay ng sako ang mga mag-aaral kung mayroon man. Hinihikayat ang lahat na doon ilagay ang mga nakokolektang bote, kokolektahin tuwing Biyernes.

Kasama rin sa ipinaliwanag kahapon ang kaalaman tungkol sa tamang paggamit ng palikuran (CR), tulad ng paghuhugas ng kamay at wastong pagtatapon ng basura, upang higit pang maitaguyod ang kalinisan sa buong paaralan.

Ipinabatid din kahapon ang mahalagang anunsyo para sa mga miyembro ng YES-O at sa mga interesadong sumali sa SCIENCE CLUB: Magkakaroon ng pagpupulong bukas, Agosto 14, 2025, sa room ni Ma’am Elvira Buaga ng 4 pm.
