Health check on our campus cats:

JOSE (ADG) is done with his 14-day treatment. However, there are still some white filming on his eyes. Thus, he is to be scheduled for a follow-up checkup.

MS. CEAT (LDH) still has persistent skin issues. We should probably have her checked as well.

This is both welcome and sad news. We are happy that our momma cats have safely delivered their babies. However, we hope to manage our community cats' population. Adoption rates are low and kittens have a harder chance of surviving as community cats. Hoping we could have a university-wide kapon program soon. Until then, if anyone would like to sponsor the kapon of our non-neutered cats, please send us a message.

Heart-warming update on our JFH Queen, Keeshie. Her fur mom, Jem Salandanan was happy to report how Keeshie has finally allowed her to receive affection. "Close na kami," she said 😻. Keeshie would now sleep with Jem but would wait 'til she is already asleep before cuddling with her.

Indeed, cats, in general, are affectionate but in their own terms. So adopters need to be patient and ready to love unconditionally. As we say, "treat others as you hope to be treated."

We have lots of kittens for adoption, all waiting to love and be loved in return. We encourage our community to adopt instead of shopping for pets.
