Signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and RME Review Course – Day 1

The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines – Southern Cavite Chapter (IIEE-SCC), in partnership with the Technological University of the Philippines – Cavite Campus (TUP-Cavite) and the Cavite Electricians Master Association, Inc. (CEMAI), successfully launched the Registered Master Electrician (RME) Review Course, a meaningful initiative aimed at equipping aspiring RMEs with the knowledge and competencies needed to excel in the licensure examination.
The opening program was led by Ms. Ma. Juliet Patria D. Escalona, TUP-Cavite Extension Coordinator, together with the lead proponent and host, Engr. Marco Figueroa. The event was attended by IIEE-SCC President Engr. Gensen Cariño, represented together with the Chapter's BOD and RME Affairs Committee Chairman Engr. Ronald Rocha, as well as CEMAI President Ms. Florence Domingo.
Participants were inspired by the keynote messages of Dr. Alexander E. Mag-isa, Campus Director, and Dr. Luis D. Dulnuan Jr., Assistant Director for Research and Extension of TUP-Cavite, who highlighted the importance of excellence, perseverance, and continuous professional development. Likewise, Engr. Gensen Cariño encouraged the aspirants to remain committed, disciplined, and confident as they pursue their goal of becoming future RMEs.
A major highlight of the event was the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing among TUP-Cavite, IIEE Southern Cavite Chapter, and CEMAI, symbolizing the strong partnership and shared commitment of the three institutions to advancing quality education, professional development, and extension services for the electrical engineering community.
Following the ceremonial signing, the review proper officially commenced with its first lecture covering Fundamentals of Electricity, Ohm's Law, and Electrical Circuits, providing participants with a solid foundation for their preparation toward the RME Licensure Examination.
This collaborative endeavor reflects the unwavering commitment of TUP-Cavite, IIEE-SCC, and CEMAI to produce competent, ethical, and highly skilled electrical professionals who will contribute to nation-building through engineering excellence.
Together, we empower future RMEs and continue building a stronger and more competent electrical engineering profession.
