Our First Home. Our Forever Gratitude. ❤️🏫
For the last 85 Sundays, beginning December 1, 2024, the halls of Salawag National High School became more than just a school to us—they became home.
Week after week, we gathered at the Bulwagan ng Pagkakaisa and the School Library to worship, pray, learn God’s Word, celebrate new life in Christ, dedicate children, share communion, and build a family of faith. Those rooms witnessed tears, laughter, testimonies, songs of praise, and countless moments of God’s grace.
None of this would have been possible without the extraordinary generosity of Deped Salawag National High School, under the gracious leadership of its former School Head, Mr. Jeffrey Penales, and its current School Head, Mr. Bombie Dalangin . Thank you for opening your doors and allowing a young church like ours to find a place where faith could flourish and lives could be transformed. A special shoutout to Mr. Christian Formales, Ate Jo and all security personnel for all your assistance.
Some places are merely venues. Others become part of your story.
Salawag National High School will always be one of those places.
As we prepare to move into our next home, we do so carrying the memories, friendships, and milestones that were born within your walls. This chapter may be ending, but it will never be forgotten.
Every story has a first page, and every tree remembers the leaf where new life first unfolded. This leaf will forever remain an important part of Chosen’s story.
Though God is leading us forward, Salawag National High School will always and forever be Chosen’s first home.
From every member of Chosen Community Ministries, thank you for welcoming us, believing in us, and becoming part of what God has been writing in our church family.
We leave with grateful hearts, trusting that the seeds planted here will continue to bear fruit for generations to come.
