Anchored on the core values of Exemplify Life, Integrity, and Trust for Excellence (ELITE), BKB also complements the mission of the Campus Ministry by promoting positive lifestyle choices and spiritual growth. Institutionalized by the Dangerous Drugs Board, BKB aims to empower the youth to become active advocates for a vice-free lifestyle. It functions as a preventive education and information program that raises awareness about the harmful effects of various vices while strengthening values education among students. BKB ELITE-FEBIHS envisions an academic environment where students are well-informed, responsible, and equipped to make sound decisions. It seeks to develop student leaders who embody integrity and are capable of influencing their peers, families, and communities. Through various initiatives such as seminars, outreach activities, campaigns, and creative engagements, BKB promotes physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional well-being among the youth. As an effective peer-based preventive education and information program to counter the dangers and ill effects of various vices, the Board has institutionalized the BKB program in order to enlist the participation of more in and out-of-school youth, and eventually organize them into a movement of young people who are catalysts within their peer groups in advocating a healthy, vice-free lifestyle.
