Our heartfelt thanks to the entire IMA Holdings Inc. team for spending the day with our GK community and joining our House Build Activity alongside our beneficiaries. For many of their volunteers, it was their first time to experience building with their own hands—and the joy, excitement, and teamwork they shared made the day even more special.

What made the day more meaningful was that Anica chose to celebrate her birthday with the GK community. 🎂❤️ Thank you, Anica, for choosing to turn your special day into an opportunity to serve, connect, and make a difference.

Building Sustainable Communities Through Bayanihan in GK Hugo Perez in Trece Martires, Cavite! 🏡✨

We are in full swing with the Wells Fargo Welcome Home, Employee Volunteer Engagement, Running from September 1 through October 15, we are rolling up our sleeves alongside our amazing partners to build homes, paint, and plant for the community.

This beautiful display of proves that by the spirit of volunteerism, everything is possible. Posible pala kapag tayo ay nagkaka-isa! Every shared effort brings us another step closer to realizing our GK2050 vision of long-term community development and social progress.

Every great community begins with a love story. ❤️🏡

The turnover and awarding of Love Story GK Village at GK SMDC Bayanihan Village, Dasmariñas, Cavite marked more than the completion of twelve homes—it celebrated the beginning of twelve new chapters filled with hope, dignity, and endless possibilities.

The name Love Story carries a beautiful meaning. This village was built through countless stories of compassion, generosity, and selfless love. It is the story of people who chose to give, volunteers who chose to serve, and partners who believed that every family deserves a place to call home.

At the heart of this remarkable story are Tita Carol and Tito B**g Tulud, whose love has inspired many. As they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, they chose to honor this milestone by giving other families the opportunity to build a better future. Together with their family and the unwavering support of GK USA, they transformed their love into a lasting legacy—one that will continue to change lives for generations.

Each of the twelve beneficiary families also carries a story worth telling. Behind every home is a journey marked by hardship, sacrifice, perseverance, and unwavering hope. Through years of hard work and determination, they never stopped believing that one day, they too would have a place they could proudly call home.

At Gawad Kalinga, we do not simply build houses—we build lives, restore dignity, and nurture communities where families can thrive together.

May Love Story GK Village continue to remind us that the greatest homes are built not only with concrete and steel, but with compassion, generosity, and love.

Congratulations to our twelve families. Welcome home. ❤️

𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙝𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖 𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙪𝙨𝙤, 𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙗𝙪𝙤 𝙣𝙜 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣.

Isinagawa kamakailan sa GK Hugo Perez Bayanihan Village ang isang makabuluhang Values Formation session para sa ating mga upcoming beneficiaries bilang bahagi ng kanilang paghahanda sa pagiging ganap na miyembro ng komunidad ng Gawad Kalinga.

Higit pa sa paghahanda para sa isang tahanan, layunin ng session na ito na ihanda ang bawat pamilya sa buhay na nakaugat sa pananagutan, pagkakaisa, at iisang layunin. Sa pamamagitan ng makabuluhang talakayan at pagbabahaginan, muling pinaalala sa ating mga future beneficiaries na ang Gawad Kalinga ay hindi lamang tungkol sa pabahay - ito ay tungkol sa pagbibigay-buhay sa mga pangarap, pagpapatibay ng mabubuting pagpapahalaga, at pagbuo ng komunidad na nagmamalasakit sa isa’t isa.

Habang nagpapatuloy sila sa kanilang journey, nawa’y maging simula ito ng mas malalim na commitment, mas empowered na mga pamilya, at mas matibay na diwa ng bayanihan para sa buong komunidad.

Through the strong partnership between Gawad Kalinga and Pepsi Cola Philippines—who generously served as the program sponsor for three months. This initiative was made possible as a response to pressing challenges in reading literacy and learning gaps among students who struggle with basic reading and comprehension.

Throughout the program, more focused and intentional teaching strategies were implemented, alongside the organization of dedicated volunteer tutors and teachers who committed their time and effort to guide the learners. These collective efforts created a nurturing learning environment that helped improve the children’s reading skills, strengthen their comprehension, and build their confidence.

Beyond academics, the program also fostered hope,reminding every child that learning is possible when a community comes together. It became a shared journey of growth and encouragement, made stronger through the collaboration of parents, volunteers, educators, and partners working hand in hand.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Pepsi Philippines for its unwavering support and generosity. Your commitment to education and community development has made a lasting impact on the lives of our learners.

This partnership has not only helped bridge learning gaps but has also helped open doors of opportunity and possibility for the children we serve.
