Last August 26, 2026, the DLSU-D University Student Government (USG) hosted a discussion with some of the congressional candidates running in the 2026 Dasmariñas Special Elections at Tanghalang Julian Felipe. The event provided a platform for candidates to share their visions, address key issues, and engage with the community.

The special election marked an important moment for the City of Dasmariñas as residents exercised their right to shape the city’s future through informed and active participation.

𝐃𝐋𝐒𝐔-𝐃 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Student leaders from De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) are set to participate in the Lasallian Youth Congress 2026, a national gathering of Lasallian student leaders taking place from September 2–6, 2026 at the Krisalis: Benilde Retreat and Conference Complex.

The congress serves as a platform for young Lasallians across the country to engage in leadership workshops, collaborative projects, and discussions on pressing social and academic issues. It highlights the role of student leaders in shaping their institutions and communities through service, innovation, and advocacy.

Among DLSU-D’s representatives are USG President Froilan Villan, CSO Executive Director Denmark Poblete, Zam Natividad, Heraldo Filipino Art-in-Charge Alexandra G. Asuncion, Vicisitude Creative Director Gabriel D. Ignacio, and HS Student Council President Jodie Estrella, who will join Lasallians nationwide in exploring themes of leadership, community engagement, and holistic formation.

The Lasallian Youth Congress is an annual event that strengthens the network of student leaders across the De La Salle schools in the Philippines. It provides opportunities for dialogue, skill-building, and collaboration, ensuring that Lasallian values of faith, service, and communion are carried forward by the next generation.

𝐍𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐤𝐚-𝟑𝟏 𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨, 𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬. 🇵🇭

Itong araw na ito ang sumisimbolo at nagpapaalala sa atin ng kanilang inialay na katapangan, sakripisyo, at matinding pagmamahal sa bayan.

Sa kasaysayan ng ating pakikibaka para sa kalayaan, naging mahalagang bahagi ang Kabite. Mula sa Unang Pangulo ng Republika ng Pilipinas na si Emilio Aguinaldo, nagmula rin sa Kabite ang mga bayaning katulad nina Ladislao Diwa, Mariano Trias, Mariano Alvarez, Gregoria Montoya, Marcela Marcelo, at ang Labintatlong Martir ng Kabite na tumindig para sa kalayaan ng ating bansa.

Nawa’y magsilbing inspirasyon sila sa atin at magkaroon din tayo ng tapang na lumaban para sa tama, manindigan sa harap ng pagsubok, at magsakripisyo para sa kapakanan ng kapwa Pilipino.

Ngayong Buwan ng Wika, ating parangalan ang mga bayani at ang pamanang nagbibigay-inspirasyon sa ating lahat, at patuloy nating payabungin ang Wikang Filipino!

On Ninoy Aquino Day, we honor Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., whose sacrifice ignited a nation's fight for freedom. His legacy inspired the historic 1985–1986 People Power movement and brought millions together to restore democracy in the Philippines.

𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐌𝐎𝐋𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 officially welcomed the new academic year with energy and fresh opportunities for the freshmen of De La Salle University – Dasmariñas. Held from July 27-31, the week-long orientation brought together new and returning Lasallians in celebration of another year of learning, service, and excellence.

The festivities began with the ANIMO Walk, where students explored the campus and familiarized themselves with what the university has to offer. Recruitment booths of various student organizations lined the venue alongside a lively bazaar. The opening ceremony featured a Eucharistic Celebration followed by vibrant performances that set an exciting and optimistic tone for the rest of the week.

Throughout the week, the University’s colleges held their respective orientation programs and campus tours to help students become more acquainted with their academic communities. College-based sessions strengthened the freshmen’s Lasallian identity while fostering meaningful connections with their peers. At the same time, student organizations brought in their passion and commitment by encouraging students to join their communities and develop as future student leaders.

The final day centered on student unity and reflection, encouraging freshmen to embrace the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. Closing with incredible performances and memorable experiences, PANIMOLA 2026 became a shining new chapter for many students starting their college journey. More than an orientation program, it ignited the spirit of the Lasallian community, representing that every new beginning is a celebration of what the future holds.
