The national tournament brought together some of the country’s strongest speakers, especially from major universities. Each round tested skill, strategy, and resilience.

𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐰𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫é𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐲 𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨 𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 30, 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞. He acted when silence was easier, when fear could have kept him in line. 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘆, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. ✊

We honor Bonifacio by asking ourselves hard questions about our own principles. 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭? True respect for his legacy comes from action, not applause or empty words. 🇵🇭
