To ensure peace and safety of our barangay and its residents, a competent and well-trained team of responders is essential. In recognition of our hardworking Barangay Tanods, the Alpha Phi Omega - Cagsawa Alumni Association successfully organized a Basic Self-Defense Training in Brgy. Sipi, Daraga, Albay, on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

This initiative aims to enhance the said public servant's knowledge and skills in handling various situations and to equip them with the necessary self-defense techniques for different scenarios.

We commend the dedication of our barangay tanods in serving our community, and also recognize the active partnership of Brgy. Sipi. The success of this event would not be possible without your active participation. ⚜️

The Cagsawa Alumni Association, in partnership with the Barangay Council of Alcala, Daraga, Albay and with the generous sponsorship of APO Metro Edmonton, successfully conducted a community service activity titled “Pre-Christmas Paogma Para sa mga Kaakian” as part of the barangay's Children’s Congress celebration.

The event was filled with fun games, gifts, snacks, and meaningful interactions—truly a joyful pre-Christmas treat for the children of the community. Their smiles and laughter made the day even more special, reminding us of the importance of service and shared happiness during this season of giving.

Together for a cleaner, greener future! 🌱

The Alpha Phi Omega – Cagsawa Alumni Association proudly joined the cleanup drive “Project Daluyan: Save Cagnanaga River,” organized by Anislag National High School last October 31, 2025 at Brgy. Mayon, Daraga, Albay.

This meaningful initiative aimed to restore and protect the Cagnanaga River, promoting ecological resilience and community stewardship. 🌱

The success of this activity was made possible through the collective effort and true spirit of service of the APO Cagsawa Alumni Association, the student volunteers of Anislag National High School led by Sir Michael Molenilla, the Barangay Council of Mayon, their passionate volunteers, and the MENRO-Daraga team. 👏💪
