In cooperation with the Philippine National Police, under its Revitalized-Pulis Sa Barangay Program, the Kiwanis Club of Cagsawa Gems took part in the distribution of hygiene kits and gifts to the children in Barangay San Ramon, Daraga, Albay on February 27, 2025.

With the theme “Child Care: Keeps Children Safe and Healthy”, the activity catered to 100 kids.

The project was carried out with the Rotary Club of Legazpi.

Kasolo, Kasali, Kasalo Project

On June 21, 2025, the Kiwanis Club of Cagsawa Gems distributed various school supplies at Barangay Peñafrancia, Daraga, Albay, in collaboration with other clubs in the locality.

Dubbed as Kasolo, Kasali, Kasalo Project, this undertaking targeted the children of solo parents to alleviate their burden in sending kids to school by providing the basic materials like bags, slippers and writing necessaries.

The event’s success was a concerted effort of the collaborating clubs such as, Inner Wheel Club of the Philippines-Cagsawa Chapter, Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers-Albay-Legazpi Chapter, Safety First Foundation, Inc., and Kiwanis Club-Dynamic Builders.

Kiwanis Club of Cagsawa Gems joins the Kiwanis Operation Tulong Bicol

A total of 200 families from Barangays Ponso, Magurang, Basud, and Centro Oriental of Polangui, Albay received a basket of rice and a whole piece of roasted chicken each on November 23, 2024. The beneficiaries were among those devastated by Typhoon Kristine that hit the province on October 21, 2024.

This undertaking, dubbed as Operation Tulong Bicol - Kiwanis Katuwang Operasyon Kristine (K*K) is a project of the Kiwanis International Philippine Luzon District. Other clubs present were KC Legazpi, KC Cagsawa, KC Bituon Kan Albay, KC Polangui Movers, KC Magnificent Mavens, KC Daragang Magayon, KC Cosmopolitan Legazpi, KC Polangui Achievers, KC Mayon Albay, KC Metro Legazpi, KC New Dynamic Builders, KC Oragons Albay, and KC Masbate. # # #
