From Daraga to Narra, Palawan, the 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐀𝐂𝐌) brought together 𝟐𝟎 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝟓 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟏𝟒 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬—united by one purpose: to move Area 3 forward.

The successful ACM provided a meaningful space to discuss Area 3’s accomplishments at the national level, celebrate milestones, and strengthen the commitment to creating greater impact.

PDEA DRUG SEMINAR

With the national campaign against illegal drug abuse and in the face of rising statistics on young drug dependents, JCI Daraga, as the sole civil service organization partner of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office V, empowered 60 students of Mabini Elementary School in Daraga, Albay on July 24, 2026 against illegal drugs.

PDEA Regional Office V Chief Arlene B. Galiza delivered a vital drug awareness seminar strengthening grassroots education in the nationwide anti-drug campaign.

Reaching children at the elementary level builds a strong foundation against negative peer pressure and substance abuse.
Localized seminars, such as this one, support the government's broader mission to protect vulnerable communities from drug proliferation. This likewise equips students with accurate knowledge and critical thinking skills to make safe, healthy life choices.

PROJECT AGOS: Water Purification and Safe Drinking Water Training for Disaster Resilience

Empowering Young Leaders for a Climate-Resilient Future!

Yesterday on July 24, 2026, JCI Daraga, in collaboration with JCI Philippines Clean Water and Sanitation, successfully launched Project Agos: Water Purification and Safe Drinking Water Training for Disaster Resilience.

The impactful training session took place at the Mabini Elementary School Covered Court, gathering 30 eager young minds dedicated to community safety and environmental sustainability.

We were honored to have Mr. Froilan Millena, the Utilities/Customer Service Officer of the Daraga Water District who lead the educational session.

He provided hands-on training to 30 Boy Scouts of Mabini Elementary School, equipping them with vital skills in water purification and safe drinking management during disaster scenarios.

By training these scouts, Project Agos aims to create ripple effects of preparedness and survival awareness throughout the local community.

Thank you to all our partners, school administrators, and the young scouts who took a big step toward a cleaner, safer, and more resilient tomorrow!
