BREAKING: Mendenilla wins Vice Mayoralty poll vs Incumbent VM Love Ruiz.

In a survey conducted by Barracuda Itv Mendenilla won by a landslide of 76.95% vs Incumbent Vice Mayor Love Ruiz who garnered 23.05% therefore having Mendenilla lead a margin of 53.90%.

The House of Representatives Albay Second Congressional District Office welcomes the Bicol University Student Council Chairperson and Student Regent Kyle Reuben Bron.

Kasama natin sa pagbigay serbisyo publiko buong araw sa Tanggapan ng Edukasyon at Pagpapaunlad ng Kabataan ang Tagapangulo at Regent ng mag-aaral ng BU.

We devoted the entire day to productive series of activities, serving our constituents in the Albay Second District and reinforcing our dedication to .

Education and Youth Development Officer Seth Christopher Mendenilla, in close tandem with the Chief-of-Staff to Congressman Caloy Andes Loria, Mr. Adrian "Ian" S. Cadiz, accommodated the partnership initiated by Mr. Ronnie James Indaya.

The BUCL Bar Ops Commission is bound to both cities of Naga and Sorsogon.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region V-Bicol paid a Courtesy Visit to the Albay Second Congressional District Office - Education and Youth Development responsibility of Congressman Carlos "Caloy" Andes Loria.

CHED Regional Director Demetrio Anduyan presented the Eight-Point Agenda of the commission along with its Accomplishment Report, Regional Scholarship Data, Special Projects and Initiatives, and other Educational Scholarship Opportunities.

Education and Youth Development Officer Seth Christopher Mendenilla identified the number of scholarship and allocation of funds that the Education and Youth Development Office may offer in the year 2026 with the initial budget introduced by Rep. Loria.

Puno ng kasiyahan at taos-pusong pasasalamat ang aming oficina de distrito sa inyong walang humpay na pakikipagtulungan, serbisyo, at pagmamahal sa bawat kabataang nangangarap. Pangarap na binuo at nagmula saating nag-aalab na laban at adbokasiya, para sa tunay na pagbabago.

Ang aming tanggapan ay mananatiling bukas para sa lahat. Hindi lamang para sa magagaling at matatalino, kundi lalo na sa mga taong hinahanap ang sarili, nahihirapan, marhinalisado, at dehado. Ngunit may pangarap, prinsipyo, at adhikaing maatim ang pantay at magandang kinakbukasan ng distrito.

Hindi ito para sa malalakas, makapangyarihan, at mayayaman. Ito ay ang kagawarang tanggap at kontento sa kung anong meron ka upang umalalay, saklolohan, at magpakita, lalo na sa panahong pinaka-mahirap at kailangan. Patuloy ang ating pakikipag-ugnayan at tulungan, upang mabantayan ang isang matatag, inklusibo, at progresibong distrito dos!

The Education and Youth Development Office (EdYOU) and CALinga Foundation Inc. of the Second Congressional District, Province of Albay, solely represented the Republic of the Philippines in the Asia-Pacific Youth-Led AMR Action in the Era of Polycrisis.

Philippine Delegate Dr. Seth Christopher Mendenilla, CLSSDC, CCBST, CSMS, a Doctor in Humanities (h.c.), Fourth-Time International Debate Champion, and a prominent figure in the International Community brough EdYOU in the Global Arena by making another bold step.

In the 12th of August 2025, EdYOU received an invitation from the Co-Thematic Focal Point on Environmental Health Working Group of the Children and Youth Major Group (CYMG) to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Dr. Fithriyyah Iskandar.

Dr. Fithriyyah Iskandar specifically requested the presence of Mendenilla to grace the International Convention that assembled Youth Leaders and Organizations across Asia-Pacific Region to elevate perspectives on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) amid Climate Change, Pandemics, and Other Systematic Shocks.

As Mendenilla showcased operational strategies in AMR, the panel paved an opportunity to once again show the world, the wit and intellect of Filipino People that consistently brought pride, and honor to our nation. Truly remarkable, indefatigable, and mostly reliable.

The panel was organized in celebration of the International Youth Day and the 20th Year Anniversary of ReACT Asia-Pacific Global Action on Antibiotic Resistance led by Youth Engagament Consultant Dr. Salman Khan.

The Education and Youth Development Office, under the astute leadership of Seth Christopher Mendenilla, has celebrated the 2025 International Youth Day with a symposium convened by the Commission on Human Rights Region V-Bicol (CHR-RV).

A consortium of distinguished and reputable institutions was prominently observed at the symposium, including the Albay Action for Community Education, USAID, the Provincial Youth Development Office (PYDO), and an array of youth-led organizations across the Province of Albay.

In an interview with EdYOU, a delegate boasted a Community Mapping Workshop and other featured activities by the commission, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while also illuminating the fundamental human rights encompassing Political, Economic, Social, and Cultural dimensions.

The event convened at Casa Lorenzo in Tagas, Daraga, Albay, under the leadership of Atty. Arlene Q. Alangco, the Regional Director of the Commission on Human Rights. Her presence lent gravitas to the proceedings, reinforcing the commitment to uphold and advocate for the rights of the youth.

Meanwhile, the Education Support Coordinator Stacy Daniel Alamares served as a Guest Speaker, in the event spearheaded by the United Nations Youth Association of the Philippines - Bicol Chapter, thereby enriching the dialogue surrounding youth empowerment and advocacy.

This celebration not only commemorates the resilience and potential of the youth but also serves as a clarion call for continued action and engagement in the pursuit of sustainable development and the protection of human rights.
