MYMarkS 2026 brought together aspiring marketers, students, and industry leaders in a two-day experience grounded in learning, collaboration, and purpose. Held at the Atrium, Limketkai, the summit became a space where ideas were not only shared, but explored, challenged, and brought to life through meaningful conversations.

Across both days (April 14-15), each session contributed to a deeper understanding of the ever-evolving marketing landscape. From discussions on branding and strategy to insights on innovation, leadership, and growth, participants were exposed to perspectives shaped by real experience and practice. These were not just lessons to be heard, but ideas to be carried forward, reflections of what it truly means to build with intention and create impact.

More than the knowledge shared, it was the openness of our speakers, their willingness to share both successes and challenges that created an environment where learning felt genuine and grounded. Each story, insight, and perspective added depth to the MYMARKS experience, allowing participants to see beyond concepts and into the realities of building, leading, and growing in their respective fields.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the following speakers for generously sharing their time, expertise, and passion, Mr. Raymund Acedera, Mrs. Edie Acedera, Mr. Josiah Go, Mr. Fredy Ong, Mr. Jake Yrastorza, Mr. Badong Abesamis, Mr. Donald Lim, Mr. Elpidio Paras, Mr. Gem Tero III, Ms. Agnes Adviento, Mr. Jerome de la Fuente, Mrs. Dorothy Go, Mr. Harold Laborte, and Ms. Golda Lim.

Your contributions have left a lasting impression on everyone who became part of this journey. More than insights, you have helped shape perspectives, challenge thinking, and inspire a deeper commitment to growth and excellence.

Because of you, excellence is not only a theme, it is a standard we carry forward, long after MYMarkS 2026.

Day 2 of MYMarkS 2026 felt more than just a series of talksโ€”it felt real. Every story, every lesson, and every experience shared reminded us that growth doesnโ€™t only happen in big places, but also in the small beginnings we often overlook.

From learning how opportunities are built in the regions, to hearing journeys from Mindanao to global brands, and understanding how trust is earned in marketingโ€”each session gave us something we can carry beyond this event.

We saw how passion turns into purpose, and how local ideas can grow into something meaningful and impactful. To all the organizers and speakers, thank you for giving your time, sharing your stories, and inspiring us in ways that go beyond the classroom. You didnโ€™t just teachโ€”you made us feel what it means to dream bigger and believe in where we come from.

From all of us in ๐‘๐Œ๐ˆ๐‰๐Œ๐€, we are truly grateful to be part of this experience. These two days may have ended, but the inspiration, lessons, and motivation we gained will stay with us as we continue our journey as future marketers.
Some moments are hard to put into wordsโ€”but this is one of those weโ€™ll always carry with us.

Above all, Opportunity does not define us, preparation does. -Jerome de la Fuente-

Day 1 at MYMarkS 2026

In today's modern world, we often think that having money is the most important thing in life. However, we soon realize that there's more to life than just money, fame, and popularity. What truly matters is how we help others succeed in life. RMIJMA is now ready to support and enhance students' development towards excellence, regardless of their background or status. We believe that everyone deserves the same opportunities, and our organization is committed to providing holistic development to each student, ensuring that their voices are heard.

There are times when things donโ€™t go as planned, and it hurtsโ€”but in those delays, we become stronger, wiser, and closer to the life weโ€™re meant to live. One day, weโ€™ll realize those setbacks were actually redirections leading us where we truly belong. At the Mindanao Youth Marketing Summit 2026, we learned that delays are not denials but growth opportunities, and that great marketers donโ€™t just chase outcomesโ€”they build strong foundations, stay purposeful, and grow through every challenge.

Todayโ€™s sessions brought together one clear message: excellence is intentional.
From purpose-driven leadership, strategic brand building, and the rise of AI, to creativity, consumer insights, and entrepreneurial impactโ€”every talk emphasized that success is not instant, but built through vision, consistency, and courage.

Day 1 showed us that itโ€™s not just about skillsโ€”itโ€™s about heart. Being a Mindanaoan marketer means having the courage to act and the passion to create something meaningful that endures.

Build your story. Build your legacy.

Why would a Human Resource Management student like me join an organization anchored in Marketing Management? This is the very first question I had in mind when I was invited to be part of a new organization in our school, RMIJMA. I honestly didnโ€™t know at first. Looking back, I had already experienced the pressure of leadership, which is why I never planned on continuing as I entered my fourth year in college. Serving as an officer wasnโ€™t easy, but over time, it became something I truly cared about and shaped me in ways I never expected.

From being pushed to attend that first meeting and simply saying, โ€œokay, mu attend rako,โ€ I never imagined it would open a lot of doors where I could give more of myself. Through this organization, I grew not just in my field but beyond my comfort zone and even beyond what I thought I was capable of.

Every challenge taught me that leadership is not about the title you hold, but about the way you serve. Itโ€™s not about being in the spotlight, but about showing up when it matters. Itโ€™s not about having all the answers, but about listening, learning, and staying steady even when things get tough. True leadership is choosing to serve even when itโ€™s inconvenient and putting people before pride.

As I graduate, I leave not just memories but a part of myself in this organization. To our organization adviser, Mr. John Carlo I. de Asis, and to my fellow officers, thank you for being part of my last two academic years. Your guidance, support, and shared dedication made this experience truly meaningful. I hope you have learned something from me, just as I have learned so much from you.

To the next leaders, lead with heart, serve with humility, and always remember who you are doing it for.

Thank you, RMIJMA. Deo Gratias!
