Yesterday, Malonoy NHS troop came together for a joyful boodle fight to honor the amazing women who guide us and the girls who inspire us. From shared meals to shared memories, we celebrated Troop Leaders Day and Girls Day with laughter, gratitude, and unity. Here's to strong leaders, empowered girls, and the bonds that make scouting unforgettable! 💚👭🍽️

🌿 Faith Day Activity: “Brave Hearts, Bold Steps”

On this special Faith Day, Malonoy NHS Girl Scouts gather to explore the timeless story of David and Goliath, discovering how faith and courage can empower them to face life’s biggest challenges. Through watching a video and reflection, girls learn that even the smallest voice can make a mighty impact when guided by belief and inner strength.

David, a young shepherd, stood up to a giant not with armor or brute force, but with faith, confidence, and a simple sling. His story reminds Girl Scouts that bravery isn’t about size or strength—it’s about trusting yourself, standing firm in your values, and believing that you can make a difference.

This activity helps Girl Scouts connect the story to their own lives by:
🌟 Building Courage: Encouraging girls to face their fears and speak up, even when it’s hard.
💚 Strengthening Faith: Teaching that belief—in oneself, in others, or in a higher purpose—can be a powerful guide.
🛡️ Living the Girl Scout Law: Reinforcing values like being courageous and strong, respecting others, and making the world a better place.

Whether through creative crafts, team challenges, or heartfelt discussions, this Faith Day reminds every Girl Scout that she has the power to overcome her “giants”—with courage, character, and a little faith.

𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐌𝐢𝐱𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜! ✨🍬

As Girl Scouts of Malonoy National High School, we love discovering new skills while having fun together. This time, we rolled up our sleeves (literally!) and turned simple ingredients—powdered milk, condensed milk, and white sugar—into soft, creamy pastillas! 💛

Making pastillas was more than just mixing and rolling—it was about teamwork, patience, and creativity. 👩‍🍳 Each of us shaped our own little treats, proving that even the simplest recipe can become something special when shared with friends. This activity wasn’t just cooking, it was a lesson in cooperation and enjoying the fruits (or sweets!) of our labor. 🫶

Now, our homemade pastillas are ready to be enjoyed and shared, reminding us that learning can be fun, flavorful, and full of girls power! 🎀✨

The Girl Scouts of the Philippines At Malonoy National High School are making learning fun and culturally relevant. The girls dove into a spirited game of Pinoy Henyo, blending traditional Filipino culture with modern educational techniques. This activity is part of the Girl Scouts' commitment to holistic development, ensuring that young girls are both knowledgeable and proud of their heritage.

Pinoy Henyo, a beloved Filipino guessing game, encourages quick thinking, teamwork, and communication skills. The Girl Scouts eagerly embraced the challenge, demonstrating their ability to think on their feet and work together to solve the puzzles. This event underscores the importance of incorporating local games and traditions into educational activities, making learning more engaging and meaningful for the students.

Who says trash can’t be turned into treasure? 🌱✨ As Girl Scouts, we love getting creative and caring for the environment at the same time. That’s why we transformed an empty Mountain Dew bottle into a colorful DIY flower pot! It’s fun, simple, and a great way to recycle while showing off our crafty side.

Making this flower pot was more than just cutting and painting—it was about teamwork, patience, and imagination. 💚 Each of us added our own design to make it unique, proving that even the simplest materials can become something beautiful when you put love into it. This activity wasn’t just art, it was a lesson in responsibility and caring for nature. 🌸

Now, our little flower pots are ready to hold plants that will remind us to always nurture life and protect the earth. 🌍💐 With projects like this, we learn that sustainability doesn’t have to be boring—it can be colorful, creative, and full of girl power!
