Yesterday, Malonoy NHS troop came together for a joyful boodle fight to honor the amazing women who guide us and the girls who inspire us. From shared meals to shared memories, we celebrated Troop Leaders Day and Girls Day with laughter, gratitude, and unity. Here's to strong leaders, empowered girls, and the bonds that make scouting unforgettable! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ‘ญ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ

๐ŸŒฟ Faith Day Activity: โ€œBrave Hearts, Bold Stepsโ€

On this special Faith Day, Malonoy NHS Girl Scouts gather to explore the timeless story of David and Goliath, discovering how faith and courage can empower them to face lifeโ€™s biggest challenges. Through watching a video and reflection, girls learn that even the smallest voice can make a mighty impact when guided by belief and inner strength.

David, a young shepherd, stood up to a giant not with armor or brute force, but with faith, confidence, and a simple sling. His story reminds Girl Scouts that bravery isnโ€™t about size or strengthโ€”itโ€™s about trusting yourself, standing firm in your values, and believing that you can make a difference.

This activity helps Girl Scouts connect the story to their own lives by:
๐ŸŒŸ Building Courage: Encouraging girls to face their fears and speak up, even when itโ€™s hard.
๐Ÿ’š Strengthening Faith: Teaching that beliefโ€”in oneself, in others, or in a higher purposeโ€”can be a powerful guide.
๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Living the Girl Scout Law: Reinforcing values like being courageous and strong, respecting others, and making the world a better place.

As Girl Scouts of Malonoy National High School, we love discovering new skills while having fun together. This time, we rolled up our sleeves (literally!) and turned simple ingredientsโ€”powdered milk, condensed milk, and white sugarโ€”into soft, creamy pastillas! ๐Ÿ’›

Making pastillas was more than just mixing and rollingโ€”it was about teamwork, patience, and creativity. ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ Each of us shaped our own little treats, proving that even the simplest recipe can become something special when shared with friends. This activity wasnโ€™t just cooking, it was a lesson in cooperation and enjoying the fruits (or sweets!) of our labor. ๐Ÿซถ

Now, our homemade pastillas are ready to be enjoyed and shared, reminding us that learning can be fun, flavorful, and full of girls power! ๐ŸŽ€โœจ

The girls dove into a spirited game of Pinoy Henyo, blending traditional Filipino culture with modern educational techniques. This activity is part of the Girl Scouts' commitment to holistic development, ensuring that young girls are both knowledgeable and proud of their heritage.

Pinoy Henyo, a beloved Filipino guessing game, encourages quick thinking, teamwork, and communication skills. The Girl Scouts eagerly embraced the challenge, demonstrating their ability to think on their feet and work together to solve the puzzles. This event underscores the importance of incorporating local games and traditions into educational activities, making learning more engaging and meaningful for the students.

Who says trash canโ€™t be turned into treasure? ๐ŸŒฑโœจ As Girl Scouts, we love getting creative and caring for the environment at the same time. Thatโ€™s why we transformed an empty Mountain Dew bottle into a colorful DIY flower pot! Itโ€™s fun, simple, and a great way to recycle while showing off our crafty side.

Making this flower pot was more than just cutting and paintingโ€”it was about teamwork, patience, and imagination. ๐Ÿ’š Each of us added our own design to make it unique, proving that even the simplest materials can become something beautiful when you put love into it. This activity wasnโ€™t just art, it was a lesson in responsibility and caring for nature. ๐ŸŒธ

Now, our little flower pots are ready to hold plants that will remind us to always nurture life and protect the earth. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’ With projects like this, we learn that sustainability doesnโ€™t have to be boringโ€”it can be colorful, creative, and full of girl power!
