𝐒𝐔𝐇𝐈𝐃 2024 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒

SUHID 2024 concluded with resounding success, culminating an immersive two-day journey of growth, learning and connection. Participants gained invaluable knowledge in disaster preparedness, lifesaving skills and environmental conservation, while expert facilitators imparted practical wisdom on servant leadership and political awareness. Team-building activities fostered unity, trust and collaboration, honing communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Inspired by visionary leaders, including City Mayor Thomas Mark "Mix" Durano, participants emerged empowered, confident and poised to create meaningful change in their communities, leveraging their newfound skills to shape a brighter future.

During the 20th Danao City Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines Inc. Summit, highlighted with the theme, "Once a PYAP, Forever Ka-PYAP: Celebrating 20 Years of Creating Transformational Leadership; I AM INVOLVED," held at Hagnaya Beach Resort, on November 15-17, 2024, PYAP Cahumayan was recognized as an outstanding chapter among all the chapters within the City. This serves as a testament to our dedication towards making an impactful difference to the society we belong. The award was received by our President, Niña Mae Monte, together with Rica Mae Damiles and Jay Mark Manco, active PYAP members.

PYAP Cahumayan brought joy, happiness, and enjoyment to the enthusiastic children of Sitio Capilihan last September 29, 2024. The celebration was even more vibrant as the children showcase their smiles and laughter to the activities specially created and prepared for them. Despite all the hardships and struggles faced (nayabo ang lugaw), the volunteers persevered and continued to push through the activity.

This is a testament to their dedication to service through volunteerism.

The best way to celebrate National Heroes' Day is to become a modern day hero. In honor of the brave and courageous people who fought for our freedom and independence, PYAP Cahumayan brings Project GASA to the enthusiastic and hopeful children and youths of Sitio Calubian, bringing their love, care, service, and action to the country's future. The day was filled with joyful activities and knowledge, introducing early to the young minds the national heroes of the country and the importance of keeping in mind their contribution to the Philippines' sovereignty.

The DCPYAP Inc. - Cahumayan Chapter took an active role in this year's Linggo ng Kabataan Celebration hosted by the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Cahumayan. The event, called TAPOK KABATAAN, was centered around the theme "From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development."

20 𝙋𝙃𝙊𝙏𝙊𝙎 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙏𝙃𝙀 20 𝙔𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙎📸🖼️

With DCPYAP Inc. celebrating its 2 decades of commitment and dedication into service and youth empowerment, PYAP Cahumayan actively engaged in a day filled with knowledge, excitement, joy, leadership, social interactions, and of course, involvement. Held at Barangay Taytay, last August 6, 2024, PYAP membes within the City collabotively joined forces to celebrate this incredible milestone of the Federation.

The event started off with an Opening Mass, then the Parade, followed by the talk about PYAP and its Accomplishment Report, and the Opening of Booths, where participants roam around the venue to visit the informative and interactive booths prepared by each cluster. Our booth, together with the barangays composing Cluster F, highlighted the display of PYAP Cahumayan and PYAP Mantija logos on the informative side, for the interactive one, we have prepared series of activities where visitors can play. The event's higlight and finale was the search for PYAP Ambassador and Ambasadress 2024.

Sending our warmest gratitude to all the people who supported us all through out, from preparations to the actual event, your presence have truly made a signficant contribution to this success. Most especially to Cahumayan Barangay Officials who personally drove us back us forth, Hon. Roy Perez, Hon. Agripino Monte, Hon. Ramonito Capuyan and Hon. Jovert Bayo, thank you so much for the safe ride to the venue and to our way home. Also, to our ever supportive SK Chairman, Hon. Niño Jay Genzon, thank you so much for the snacks you've provided us, the food filled our stomaches with energy it requires to get through the event. Our very own slogan making representative, Jhian Ypil, immerged victorious, garnering the 3rd place of the competition, held at the Danao City Training Center last July 28, 2024. Despite having limited use of words, she was able to make a meaningful phrase, leaving a significant impact to the hearts og the juries and the youth, and together with her creativity, craftsmanship and love for the art, she excelled in her field.✨

𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕'𝒔 𝟏/𝟕✨✨✨

With Project GASA on its implementation and in line with the Nutrition Month Celebration, PYAP-Cahumayan expressed their love, shown their care, rendered service, and took action through a feeding program at Sitio Maris, where the children residents were given pospas, fruits, and some prizes. This activity aims to educate young individuals the importance of having good and nutritious meal served at the table, while also incorporating activities and games - making the event a vibrant celebration.
